IB rank 3, 5 rewards?
So w this new patch, we no longer get a package for rank 3 and 5? Just hit rank 3 n nothing

I felt cheated at first, but since you now get four guaranteed rewards for turning in the very easy to complete bounties I understand why Bungie took away them away for reaching rank three and five.

If you get those items you want from drops, just stop playing it I did. Got all the bits I wanted by level 4, so upon hearing there were no rewards from level 5, I gave up the struggle. Reaching level 4 is easy as the bounties provide loads of experience, but from level 4-5 the grind kicks in beware.

6 RisposteHey look, its another one of these posts. You now get loot from all 4 bounties a lot more loot at the end of matches. Instead of saying thank you, you are upset that you no longer get loot at rank 3 and 5. What is wrong with you?

21 RisposteBit disappointed there's no Rank 5 reward, however; 15 games played 2 clever dragons 1 silvered dread 1 iron saga boots 1 ghost 1 artifact 1 shader 1 sparrow 1 branded lord (bounty) 1 laughing heart (bounty) 2 iron saga cloaks (bounties) Every single one at LL 400 (except the shader and sparrow obviously). Can't complain really

Yeah I got nothing at rank 3 either. Just means will stop once I have completed the bounties

On the plus side, finish bounties and go back to regular activities (raid, strikes etc) much quicker.

Have played maybe 10 or so games. I suck and got all 4 bounties done. Not one clever dragon tho and that thing is a monster in pvp! If i don't get a drop I'll get the vendor version. It's still a VERY good roll. No complaints here

Yes- where are the rank 3 & 5 packages? I thought once rank up you get a iron banner faction package. Where are they?!!!!!

5 RisposteLike countless people have said before, ranks 3 and 5 rewards were part of the quest Saladin gives you on you character's first IB event. Now, if you already did it last month, the only thing that gives you loot (aside from match rewards and vendor stuff) are the bounties (which are very easy to complete). Is it still a good time investment to grind up to rank five? IMO, it depends. If you already have a better roll for the Clever Dragon, or got one while ranking up or from quests, then stop at rank 4, if you want. Do you have/acquired a better roll on the machine gun? Then stop at rank 3. You should really AT LEAST aim for rank 3 on all your characters. Why? The stat rolls on the armor are PERFECT, at most 2 points missing. Do you want to get tier 12 armor? This is a guaranteed way to get them.

I kinda like it cos then you dont have to grind till 5 on all 3 characters. Just do the bounties on them and thats it! Since the only incentive was rank 5 package (come on, that rank 3 package was ass) and now you basically get 4 rank 5 packages per character... I think its great. If i dont feel like iron banana-ing i can knock those bounties out in 2 hours
