I've noticed that the gravity remains the same for whatever planet your on in destiny.
I'm destiny 2 I hope that at least ONE planet has a different gravity for its crucible map, this would massively effect gameplay of every kind on that planet, and add a much needed new dimension to this ailing game.
UPDATE.
Look I knew about the traveller, suit effects etc, just thought for one map it would have been good change. Kind of like in the movie ENDER'S GAME.
so everybody can stay calm and keep their cool it was just an idea. LIKE IF YOU WANT CHANGE.
FOR IT'S CRUCIBLE MAP.

2 RisposteTerraforming. SIVA was developed for the use of colonists by Clovis Bray, so obviously they had other methods of colonising and terraforming a planet to be suitable for Humans to inhabit them. Traveller started the Golden Age, which gave birth to massive advances in tech.
-
2 RisposteI love how the drifter map, bodies and crest or ammo float all around you. It's a really cool effect.
-
7 RisposteReal zero gravity on the moon. That would be fun. I like to see a hunter try and throw a knife in zero gravity lol.
-
4 RisposteI've been saying this for years

7 RisposteModificato da XxnatonxX: 10/31/2016 11:28:26 AMThe moon is an egg

1 RispondiEagles has 6 letters Defense has 7 letters 6+7 = 13 13 reversed is 31 31 3-1 The Warriors blew a 3-1 lead
-
Or they could do a few missions in the crashed ships of the reef or something. No planet just jumping between debris in space. And you can run from explosions and we can have a completely different mission format from what we are used to. That would be fun
-
Videogame logic. Just roll with it.

Bungo logic

Modificato da I BATT0USAI I: 10/31/2016 10:30:07 AMI'm pretty sure it was explained somewhere that the traveler changed things with the planets. Hence gravity all being the same. Imagine jumping randomly around on moon maps, that'd be pretty fun.
-
3 RisposteModificato da Juliano: 10/31/2016 5:43:19 AMI get what you're saying. What I don't get is, you're able to do amazing things such as jump high af, shoot a mystical void bomb, summon and channel lightning, hell, even self-resurrect, but you can't ledge grab to pull yourself up and instead watch yourself slide your face against the wall all the way down to your death..or an obstacle will bounce you away like you're a damn balloon.. Or a damn rock will stop you from walking and in some cases end up killing you cause you couldn't STEP OVER the damn ROCK to move out of the way of a fully automatic hive boomer who doesn't need to RELOAD. Yay, Destiny =]

Brought to you by internet explorer. This was argued over in Y1, in reality, bungie can't be bothered to program less gravity for the other planets, too much fun for us.
-
5 RisposteTo be fair, in the golden age the planets were Terra formed.
-
Modificato da I hate Watford: 10/31/2016 8:23:10 AMThe Traveler transformed the planets.

10 Risposte
Kind of like in the movie ENDER'S GAME
Kids these days, it was a book first, and the movie is an abomination, read the book. And. This has nothing to do with lore, please re tag your post.
-
There is a point in every single video game where too much realism would ruin it.
-
Modificato da MrKnackebrod: 10/31/2016 7:38:40 AMPretty much this.
-
What about the crucible map where the gravity turns off when you get killed.
-
It's explained away by terraforming in the lore.
-
Destiny logic
-
12 RisposteMust not have played supremacy or tried collecting an orb or even ammo on the map drifter.. incredibly annoying...
-
6 RisposteThe Traveler changed everything upon its arrival. Thus why Jupiter has ice oceans and Venus has lush forests
-
Don't give them ideas to microtransaction gravity for Destiny 2.
-
2 RisposteIt's space magic, it's why we float away when we die on the drifter
-
This HAS to be done. Where's the Bunjie team?
-
Yes. Do dat bungie
