Bump if you think no radar and no revive trials should be an option for trials
I really enjoyed this week's trials so far. It's something different and fun and I've heard a lot of people liking it. I think you should be able to go to the difficulty and change it to hard and it will search for no revive and no radar trials. I loved trials like this and hate to see it stay for only one week.

20 RisposteThis week completely negated usage of any other special weapon other than a shotgun. 80% shotgun usage. [i]EIGHTY PERCENT. [/i] I know snipers are typically the guns that see all the usage, but... eighty percent? That's extremely high. Bungie literally took the meta (Pulses and Shotguns - keep in mind this has pretty much been the meta since the beginning of TTK) and enforced it on everyone this weekend.

Would be interesting.. like going flawless.. and after that it lets you matchmake with more ppl flawless.. with no radar or no revives for a second oportunity at flawless rewards

I like it. There are people who don't like it. I think the Trials mode should rotate so both parties can play the trials they prefer.

1 RispondiHow about disabling radar and revive for players who make it to the lighthouse. If you go flawless you can still play/carry but you have no radar and if you die you are dead for good.

We were not doing that much at the start and got wiped out because of it. Once we started calling out things (where you died, what weapons they use, how aggressive, where they are etc.) we started winning a few matches. And the matches we had were generally not won by camping on either side. It was deception and flanking the enemy while they were occupied with us.

I understand the no respawn but still u guys just gave warlocks an advantage over the other classes now..cause they can still self res n throw solars -blam!-in everywhere especially with no radar u don't even know where the -blam!-er just self revived at smh like why bungie? If there's no respawn why can a -blam!-in warlock self respawn the no radar is just str8 up bs....sucks because most PVE players have jobs and things to take care of, Trials of Osiris has turnt into a hell zone from wen it was first released...Flawless is not an easy thing to achieve it can take hours - days and most pvp players sit at home all day/ all week playing pvp just to spank players like us all day to the point there getting paid for it now n can raffle u in to the lighthouse..trials is ruined there's more rewards now which is cool and ornaments which I clearly think they took the wrong route on atleast give us a 10% or 20% chance to get an ornament drop at 7 wins with a weapon then going to the light house like its a peice of cake for everyone, but from when it first came out and now I say it's ruined and bungie is forcing us to take part of this bs that'll make u toss ur controller into ur TV lmao I'm not with it at all...trials is what I was looking forward to after finishing goals of PVE on this DLC but it looks like I might just get another game lol not whining like a bitch about it but bungie u -blam!-ed up trials man in my opinion

I would like to see another week but on a larger or less crowded map to see if shotguns really are as useful with the no revives and no radar

43 RisposteSo many people saying this week everyone has just been hiding in corners. Rubbish! I played a couple cards last night and almost every game was a rush fest, only time someone would hide is when their team mates where dead, which is logical and sensible. So many people saying there's been less weapon variety this week. Rubbish! There's always been minimal weapon variety in Trials. So many people saying no radar takes away skill. Rubbish! With no radar you need to be more aware of your surroundings and much more alert, with quicker reactions to combat the surprise attacks from any unknown direction. Radar gives you a heads up and time to plan your defence/attack (yes I know planning good tactics is a skill of its own) but no radar makes you have to think and act fast, which also takes skill! All in all I think its been a good change, and having it as an [b][u]OPTION[/u][/b] every week like OP says is a good idea.

As an option wouldn't make sense cause it would split the queue. Maybe here and there once in a while wouldn't be bad. I personally really enjoy it with no revives, and would like to see that be a permanent thing and a lot of others seem to agree. As for no radar it's an interesting spin but It adds an element of luck, and I feel the community would get tired of it very soon. they Also having modifiers that rotate every week would be pretty cool as week

1 RispondiAbsolutely! Regular trials is fine but it takes little to no skill to hardscope the same lanes, take one player out, and rush the other 2. This game type was the most fun I've had in crucible besides the last ib. And before ppl look at my stats, yes, I am bad at trials, always have been, and that won't change. THIS got me to play again. Maybe not this same set up every week, but they should start doing more modifiers. Maybe one week you can't use special weapons, or no exotic weapons/class items. How abt no primaries, or no supers. This made this game type more exciting. You'll get players who wouldn't normally touch trials (me and my buddies included) to play. You'll get different ppl going to the lighthouse instead of the same tryhards/streamers every week. You'll have to adapt to a new play style each week.

i think this week was great in trials, more of a challenge. they should keep this in trials permanent. plus it -blam!-s up the lag switches as they don't know when to do it plus gives you time to report them as they are not sure when to lag giving you time to do so.

Radar maybe ok to being back. I don't care No revives is a really great addition for this caliber of a pvp event

Would like trials to limit revives which would make for some more interesting strategies. Don't mind the no radar but don't think you should be able to see the enemy who killed you which basically gives you radar in a no radar trials.
