You know who you are - you are "that guy" who keeps picking up all the crests that aren't yours, aren't you.

I'm sorry but "crest stealing" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard; if you aren't picking up your own crests what [i]are[/i] you doing? Respawning most likely.
This mode is about winning, not whining.

The goal should be to win the match, not get as many crests as possible to yourself. THIS ISNT DIRECTED AT THE GUY THAT WROTE THE ORIGINAL POST! This is directed at people that complain about crest thieves.

This indeed. One of my friends was complaining about how other people are always picking up his crests from kills. You STILL get +1 for kill credit and the other guy gets +1 for the collect. He's contributing to the success of the team. Get over it lol

Course if you manage to get your own crest after dying and there is your teammate ignoring it. Plus no enemies around. Problems arise

It's fine when people pick up my crests, but when my teammates don't pick up any crests I get mad

4 RisposteCalm down subby, a lot of these folks never played this version of PvP when it was in Halo. They will all learn in time. Personally I can't wait til they bring Griffball and Infection from Halo into Destiny!

5 RisposteI think it's stupid when a teammate sees I'm already heading toward it, right after I kill the enemy, and they go out of their way to TRY to take it before I do. Wth is the point? Oh and when they run into gunfire for one crest, only to die and give it to them anyway. BTW, for the shadestep haters, I main a Titan but do have a Hunter. And when I use the hunter, I shadestep the hell out of him, wherever I can. It was made to get out of right situations. Stop crying about it.

9 RisposteI honestly think this game mode is terrible. Control, clash I can do ok..... But this caters to the shotgun spammers who sprint around all goddamn day. It really eliminates a whole style of play. And you can't go more than 2 rounds without the lobby getting disbanded because it's so lopsided every game. Not fun, not fun at all.

The lagon banner is the worse this time than I have ever seen. I have to run over the crest at least twice in some cases to pick it up. This is worse than year one and it's ridiculous that they allow a game to become like this.

1 RispondiYeah it's kinda the whole point, right? Usually if you're rolling together as a team or group, you win supremacy because you're focusing fire on the same thing and getting kills, and there's plenty to pick up crests even if one dies. Of course, rolling TOO close together gets a nova bomb to the face.

6 RisposteI think a lot of people forgot that games are supposed to be fun. Especially Iron Banner where winning and losing means absolutely nothing! You still get loot either way. You will increase your light level. I'm a horrible PvP player but I chose to suffer through some Iron Banner, and within 2 hours on each character I had gone up 5 light levels on each. If you're not enjoying it for whatever reason, don't play. Or play private matches with friends. But if you're here for loot, then play Iron Banner, have some pizza, have a drink, kick back and watch the loot roll in regardless of the leaderboard results.
