How to ensure that others are at Archon's Forge
So like many players in Destiny I play solo. I have noticed that many people are having problems running Achon's forge consistently do to there never being any one there to run it with when you arrive.
Well here is a trick I learned to be able to run it with other randoms consistently.
When you arrive at the Archon's Forge, if its empty simply jump down and run past it down into the next area that mobs spawn. Kill the mobs and turn around and [b]WALK[/b] back up to the forge. You should get the pop up that there is an active event in the zone you are about to enter and as you round the last corner you will see there is people actively running the forge. Have fun and enjoy the carnage!
This worked for me every time the past couple of nights so should work for you too.
It appears that the empty zones before and after Archon's Forge are like a match making zones. The first zone seems inconsistent but going through the forge and out the other end and back seems to give more time to find an instance with other players.
If this has already been posted I'm sorry. Just noticed there is a lot of complaining about not being able to run it so figured I should post this up for others who didn't learn this trick on their own.

3 RisposteYeah, thats an old CoO trick. Walk in the linking tunnels between areas, and it should load you in on an instance with other players. It doesn't guarantee that any of you will have any keys to start the forge.

If you walk slowly into the area that works too. Did it a couple times yesterday and worked real good.

I've had that work a few times. Usually after I do a vip kill in that area.

I really hope this works. My work roster doesn't allow me to play with my usual group reliably, would really help to use up those offerings. Thanks heaps :)

thought for sure this was bullshit, but it actually works. now if only there was a clear understanding of the loot table. is it going to rotate weekly? why did i get a set of gauntlets one time out of every time i did it, and the class item like 5 times?

Run through it and it never matches you with anyone, walk slowly and it does. It appears its the same with the forge. Walk slowly down the tunnel to the forge and you're much more likely to see others there.

definitely works, I fuigured this out too, get there with nobody then go back and within a couple of tries there is usually 5/6 people there

Still the main thing that sucks major dick is the only one Sive offering you can hold... Seriously... Who the fck came up with that idea at Bungie...

Hmmm Edit: so try this (am at work today so unable to play) get 2 fire teams of 3, 1 goes down into the cave and stays there, the other fire team goes to archons and launches an event, as soon as they have have the fire team in the cave walk back up (as seen in the video) I would imagine that's a pretty good chance it would match everyone together ? Could a clan test this ?

This actually works! Yesterday I walked really slowly towards the Forge and I found players. Played it with 6-7 other people. It was so much fun! Just make sure you dont run up the steps or boost with your sparrow. WALK SLOWLY.
