Post your views below, yes the story was to short, and pushing other minor defects aside, I feel the writing and design were both much better, and the new enemy feels that slight bit more of a competition.

Enjoying it. Even if I didn't play the game again I've already had my money's worth. Can't wait for the new raid though!!!
-
1 Rispondi5 minutes into dlc and you have to refight Sepiks Prime lolololol and then they make you go back to first level, really?? WOMP WOMP </3
-
I give everybody on here two weeks before they start hating it and complaining.
-
10 RisposteI enjoyed the story.. The final mission was EPIC .. People make the mistake to compare it to TTK but Bungie themselves stated that ROI is not as big as TTK ( that is why they have a different price ) .. Nice expansion material overall so far..
-
Love the splicer dregs, good expansion. Interesting SIVA story
-
2 Risposte2 days content then back on the hamster wheel chasing shit loot haha
-
5 RisposteThe wolves look like they have Down Syndrome.
-
2 RisposteI want to know how the endgame is, cause that will determine if it's worth it. So far I've read that the weapons are lacking and story is short but okay, patrol is the same, pvp is still whatever and archons forge takes 2 steps forward and 1 step back. I live in Canada so the dlc for me is 40$. Ds3 dlc is 20$ and seems like it will last longer, I don't know I want to get ROI but I don't know if it will be fun for more than 2 days.
-
2 RisposteAs fun as I'm actually having, it's way too short. Some re-skins seem lazy.
-
4 Rispostemy biggest issue is the reskined/reused maps... cmon :(
-
1 RispondiI have been enjoying it as well, I even said screw it and bought some silver (which I'd never even considered prior.) So I could try to get some cool weapon skins and the armor ornaments.

9 RisposteModificato da g34r: 9/22/2016 8:40:32 PMI played it too fast, I'll admit, but the story was soooo short. Not to mention without much effort I have managed to acquire 4 of the new exotics. Thorn is RNG so we'll see. I would have been happy to have paid 20$. My biggest complaint is the forced nostalgia from a ghost who was not there. Second biggest, with all the obviously massive amount of voice work done for this expansion, how the hell was mine left out? I'm a heroic mute. I'm sick of a ghost who's voice I despise speaking for me. If he's a sidekick/companion he should have opinions and make observations at most. I should make the assertions and inquiries. Huh... At the end of typing that I figured the "second" complaint i registered is probably the bigger of the two.

That last story mission was the most fun thing I've played in years, but there's just not enough content

25 RisposteModificato da puppyk1sses: 9/22/2016 9:29:28 PMTo counter: Story was unbelievably short. This is not just a minor issue. Storytelling took 2 steps back from TTK. Dry, predictable, uninteresting, cliche. Extremely limited # of new exotics. Reskinned areas + still running areas we've already been to a thousand times backwards is somehow constituting new content? This is completely unacceptable for us now being 3 years into the game. New and "new" strikes are boring with bullet sponge bosses, no new or interesting mechanics. The "new enemy faction" that was marketed is literally a slightly faster, slightly more bullet spongy version of reskinned Fallen. There is nothing new here whatsoever. This is now our 3rd skin of one of the 4 enemy factions. Also completely unacceptable for the game's 3rd year imo. Don't get me wrong, still fun to play but there's really nothing here at all that is new and/or groundbreaking and/or game changing. More of the same. Very disappointed they got so comfortable being lazy with their game design.

Personally I like it way more than TTK. I just wish it had a few more questions lines. TTK story was almost as short as RoI, but it had a shit ton of quests to do afterwards. I guess that's what the year 3 book is for though. Anyway I've found it really rewarding. One of my biggest problems with the dreadnaught was that it was a tiny space that gives the illusion of being bigger. The plaugelands are exactly what I want in a new area.
-
8 RisposteLiterally did all quests in 2 days. Except thorn. Only a few new exotics.. Raid gear looks the same except different color (hard vs normal).. Basically main quest.. 2 side quests. And exotic quests.. And they sold this one as the CONTENT expansion wow this is embarrassing for bungie and destiny. Worse that house of wolves expansion.
-
It's OK I guess, I'm just pissed that there's no more vault space.
-
Could you say your iron is risin'? 👀
-
2 RisposteI haven't been able to play much since ROI came out. Do 3 of coins still work? Are exotic engrams decrypting at up to 385 for someone who is 335 to 340 like me?
-
Call me a fanboy or whatever but this DLC was released as a filler for Destiny fans to keep busy until the sequel launches. Im enjoying it with my friends and cant wait to do the raid tomorrow. Rise of Iron is meant for the loyal player base . If you like Destiny, you will like Rise of Iron because it is essentially "more" Destiny.
-
1 RispondiYas, and bungo let me keep my baby luna, that's all I care about tbh
-
Most people who I trust say not to get it until it's on sale for cheap, or on Xbox games for gold. Haha I was a huge destiny fan, but the game still has so many issues, and over charges for content.
-
15 RisposteStory was underwhelming considering we've killed two gods now and I'm done with every quest except Thorn which i don't have and the forge boon things. Not worth the price.
-
6 RisposteApart from that great final story mission, it feels like some of the weakest and most unpolished Destiny content. I have high hopes for the raid though.

Modificato da TeslaDoc: 9/22/2016 8:27:33 PMI like it too except for three things that bug me. 1. I hate crawling through those air ducts to get to stuff I have to go to. Bungie, this area needs some urban redevelopment. 2. The new Crucible maps are making me dizzy. 3. The weapon knock. On the whole, it's way better than The Dark Below, better than The House of Wolves but not quite as good as The Taken King. Still, it's pretty good.

Modificato da MiS_Schuey: 9/22/2016 8:07:51 PMIt just doesn't compare to TTK imo. Last year when I played TTK for the first time, I was overcome with awe and wonder at exploring Phobos and the Dreadnaught and uncovering all those secrets such as cabal command codes, the chests that you had to work for in order to open, etc. On the other hand, RoI just feels less impressive to me. We have a new patrol area, yes, but it's basically just an extension of the Cosmodrome and can't compare in the least to the wonder I felt when I first landed on the Dreadnaught. When TTK dropped and introduced over a dozen quest lines, I was excited because I knew they would take a while to complete, but with RoI's five story missions and few short quest lines, I just feel underwhelmed. However, I will say that the RoI story missions have been much more enjoyable to me than the TTK ones, maybe because there are more enemies in each mission? The new strike is annoying, to say the least, and my friends and I don't find it to be very fun. Archon's Forge is cool, it's a definite improvement from the Dreadnaught's arena. I'm glad they brought back Sepiks and phogoth, and I like the strike chests. With all that being said, I really do feel underwhelmed and just generally less impressed with RoI than I did with TTK. Anyway, this is just my take on RoI; I'm sure there are tons of guardians out there with differing opinions than mine. Thanks for reading, and fight well and kill them dead guardians!
