Some people are saying preorders are bad for the gaming industry as it takes away the incentive for Developers to make a good game. They also say that the devs are getting all our money and then just kind of giving up on the project and don't care anymore because they already have our money. My response to this is, [i][b]Forget about preorders for a second. When a game is released and they make millions of dollars from people buying the game. Does that mean they no longer care, they no longer put money into the game, they ignore the fan base and say hey we have their money now, we don't need to listen to them anymore. No, they don't. They hire people to patch the game, do updates to the game, make new content for the game etc. (this isn't just about Bungie and Destiny btw, I mean ALL developers). Do you really think that the devs want to sell a bad game? You are really really stupid if you think they no longer care bacuase they have your money.[/b][/i] Edit: for those saying this community is not good, don't judge the community based on the forums. The gaming industry is already alive and it isn't going anywhere, it was just a response to that dumb comment saying pre-ordering is killing the gaming industry.
