... awesome
...helping to keep the gaming industry alive
...continuing a great community
...going to have a great time
see you in Felwinter Peak guardians.
Edit 4: I'm putting this at the top of the edits as it's my reply to quite a common comment here. Some people are saying preorders are bad for the gaming industry as it takes away the incentive for Developers to make a good game. They also say that the devs are getting all our money and then just kind of giving up on the project and don't care anymore because they already have our money. My response to this is, Forget about preorders for a second. When a game is released and they make millions of dollars from people buying the game. Does that mean they no longer care, they no longer put money into the game, they ignore the fan base and say hey we have their money now, we don't need to listen to them anymore. No, they don't. They hire people to patch the game, do updates to the game, make new content for the game etc. (this isn't just about Bungie and Destiny btw, I mean ALL developers). Do you really think that the devs want to sell a bad game? You are really really stupid if you think they no longer care bacuase they have your money.
Edit: for those saying this community is not good, don't judge the community based on the forums. A lot of the forums are a horrendous part of the community. Go to places like this to see how good the community really is.
Edit 2: This whole post is in response to this so when I said 'helping to keep the gaming industry alive' I didn't mean that preordering this DLC is single handedly helping keep it alive. I was merely saying the opposite to this guy who thinks it's killing the gaming industry, I don't think it is.
Edit 3: this whole post is in response to this post. I don't actually think pre-ordering is keeping the gaming industry alive. The gaming industry is already alive and it isn't going anywhere, it was just a response to that dumb comment saying pre-ordering is killing the gaming industry.

2 Risposteas an Xbox player. I rather not preorder. Its rather hard to get hyped up about these new things just so later they announce some of the stuff the are showing off is playstation exclusive.
-
2 RisposteYou probably shouldn't have made this post. Alot of people have very strong, very right reason that you're wrong. Just sayin.
-
8 Rispostelook.... If I'm gonna buy it anyways, i might as well get a black gun and space motorcycle also.
-
2 RisposteModificato da EvilHenchman: 8/23/2016 8:56:41 PMHaven't pre-ordered it, might not. The pre order bonuses aren't really that great to be honest. It's hit or miss for me. Love the game, but not really in a hurry. Those that are and have pre ordered- great! Those that complain about people doing what they want with their money: Russia wants you back.... commies! Lol
-
Been pre-ordered two months ago. I love Destiny.
-
3 RisposteI hear where you are coming from. Although pre orders are basically extra cash to the developers, people need to be smart consumers. If you have money to toss around, pre order all you want. I don't, so I wait for reviews and other info before I buy anything related to games. Especially now a days.
-
2 RisposteSo people on this post say that pre-ordering is bad? Really, me paying for something I know I want before it comes out with my money is bad. At the end of the day I buy games because I want to play them I don't look for reviews or how the game might look I pre-order or buy games because they seem interesting to me not anyone else. It goes the same way with any product.
-
I pre-ordered it when I saw the sweet deal they have going for it now after I had pretty much given up on Destiny. Damn!! Am I lost hahaha.
-
Aren't STEAM, sports games and candy crush were keeping the industry alive?

Modificato da EARWAK3R: 8/23/2016 8:09:21 PMYeah...totally head to twitch if you want to willingly donate to some catchphrase machine ,with a silly voice and who wants to sell you a tshirt with their face on, and offer you 5% off a scuff controller using some generic passcode. That is the 100% essence of any gaming community "Oh my gooood...thanks so so much for the donation...yadayadayada...scuff controller.....yadda yada yada...like sub raffle boom wizz pow!!!" That said, i agree with the overall sentiment of your post

Thanks man! You da real MVP! 👍
-
Wrong, so very wrong. EOM
-
You mean some people haven't preordered yet?! It wasn't a question to me. Of course I'm getting a new raid.
-
I need that awesome looking sparrow in my collection
-
Modificato da More Cowbell: 8/23/2016 6:49:09 PM...purchasing a weapon skin and sparrow. If there was a worthwhile incentive, I would have considered pre-ordering. I will wait until a month or two into RoI to see if things are the same in year three.
-
Modificato da Akron: 8/23/2016 6:29:02 PMJust another blind fool too dumb to understand.
-
3 RisposteNot saying it is killing the industry. It is allowing for poor practices and poor game development in some cases.
-
I'm not falling for Bungies pre-order crap a 2nd time.. Exclusive what? Its still gonna be shyt with nerfs etc.
-
2 RisposteI preordered because I was getting it anyways, no promises for Destiny 2.
-
11 RisposteWell you might think people are awesome but armed they really just paying for a game that's still broken and they won't fix things that people complain about?
-
55 RisposteHave a great time if you are on the ps4, Xbox one is being scammed, how you say? Well it went from a 1 year timed exclusive to 2 yr time gate.. amazing.
