So you're not actually playing a game mode that uses the new settings? Might explain why you think it's fine...

I might suggest you play a few games of objective based game modes (Rift or Control) and let us know your experiences.

Hahaha, no. No way. I've had my share of rift/control. No problems with connections or anything, more the fact that they're poorly designed to the point that people are abusing them for easy rep by steam-rolling people in them. If I want to farm for Exotics, that's where I'd do it, because no doubt a fireteam of six would have us mercy ruled in a few minutes.

How did you reach that conclusion? If you join a team-based game mode, you should expect to come across teams, that's not a matchmaking issue, that's a common sense issue.
