Hey Cosmo, here's my reply to the new matchmaking settings
Look at it.
Take a long hard look at this image and tell your friends in the studio about how awesome the new matchmaking settings are.
Show them how balanced the game has become with these new settings.
Tell them about how this image shows just how fair and balanced every game is and how much more fun we finally have in this new and improved system.
Skill based matchmaking has given me a fair and balanced lobby of equally skilled players on both teams and I am enjoying the -blam!- out of myself, knowing that I am having the most fun and engaging matches possible.

2 RisposteThe only fair thing to do in fps matchmaking is to match on best possible connection. If you get stomped, you need to either work to improve your game or lobby shop until you find one that coddles you more. Armed with the best possible connection you are free to pursue your game habit excuse free.

I notice they removed the post about new matchmaking settings. Over 3000 replies and not a single up vote. Maybe they think if they ignore the negative feedback it will go away.

2 RisposteThat's the problem with rift. A bunch of randoms get matched against a team, the team scores the first two dunks of the match and controls the spark spawn. The randoms start leaving more randoms are dropped into a loosing match then leave the inevitable mercy ensues. In my opinion rift should be the only game mode where teams play teams and randoms play randoms.

Honestly I'd rather get curb stomped by good people in cbmm than a red bar warrior team in sbmm, at least in cbmm I can learn counters...

1 RispondiIt happens in the rift all the time. Many just very quick. People just quit after the first engagement..and their team is on the bottom. People just quit less than 1 minute after the game start. In the rift 1 single unbalance..it will make a huge different in score. If just 1 player quit It will landslide down very quick. The replacement will quit as soon as the joint when they see the score. Bungie need to stop the game when they see unbalance number of players..until the replacement ready. Otherwise...the losing team will be impossible to recover.

1 RispondiSbmm is meant to have people of equal skill in the match, it does not try to balance out the teams. The system falls down because Bungie relaxed the setting because the top tier players were crying about playing sweaties all the time. This means there uses wider range of skills in a match
