SRL in December? Again?
I just read via the Game Informer article that SRL is returning in December. Again.
During the busiest retail month of the year. Again.
I barely had time last year to earn a Racer's Scarf, let alone the shaders I really wanted.
Is SRL going to be once a year now? During a time when so many retail-industry employees (especially managers working 15-18hr days) may not have time to complete even 5 races throughout the event.
Awesome.
Simply. Splendid.
Can't wait.

I treated SRL like IB. I still need to finish all the wins. If you have multiple characters, use them. I got all the shaders, and most of the armour.

Why does every post have to become a pissing contest...damn. Yeah idk it's bad moves on Bungie considering November-February is when all major games are launching, so putting something like SRL during the winter to try and pull ppl off other games and back to destiny is not really gonna work in their favor. You'd think they'd have it as soon as summer break begins, I'm sure that's when they have the most players

I'm just stoked it's not in the summer when those of us in the construction trade are working [i]our [/i]asses off in the hot sun all day and by the time I get home I'm so exhausted from the heat that I can only think about cooling down. And when I finally feel mostly normal again, I have to make dinner. And after dinner I have to take the kids to baseball practice. And by the time that's done, I have to get the kids to bed. And when that's done in finally get time to relax and play my game. But I'm so worn out from the day that while waiting for the system and game to boot up, I fall asleep on the couch, controller on hand. Man, I'll be lucky to get 5 races done at that rate, much less a raid...

At least it's being said to be returning. It could have gone the way of Queens Wrath. That being said, I'm glad people who enjoy it will be able to once again.

I don't understand why it's not in the summer. There are less games coming out and people are generally less busy and kids are off school so they'd get a lot of players. The winter not only is a bad time for people's work schedule but SRL isn't so great it will pull people away from the new games they'll be playing.

When they originally were pitching it as a seasonal event, I as okay with that. Yearly? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's content that currently exists, even if they were to run it exactly the same as the last go, that'd be better than nothing.

It's also a time when a lot of people travel. I missed most of it last year because I was out of town.
