I am just curious. Is anyone else saving up exotic engrams for Rise of Iron?

1 RispondiGood idea to save them. Another thing you can do is, once you've gotten a faction above the 25 mark for exotic class item, edge that faction almost all the way to the next rank, then change allegiances. When Rise of Iron rolls around you'll be able to rank up that faction as well as another to get some new spiffy gear. Also: Stockpile heavy weapon synths. They will be the best way to level up your factions. I have a feeling the factions are going to have a lot of new gear that will be awesome (think Dead Orbit Hung Jury from TTK release) Try to get your gunsmith to rank 10 or higher. We will be getting a new weapon foundry and I have a feeling there will be another quest for new weapons. Also it's possible the exotic kvohstov will come from a gunsmith quest

Not sure they'll decrypt into new stuff but yes, I'm saving them. Currently have 12. At the very least I'll get rep. Also saving motes and coins.

2 RisposteIts not going to work, it only worked for the april update because it was an update to TTK. It also didnt work going from How to TTK.

Im saving my exotics. Not due to the fact that they may or may not decrypt but the fact that my heavy, special, arm and leg pieces on all alts are max. I can't do anything with them. I had to delete the 335 raid snipers and queen bow cuz all my specials are max light. It's a weird feeling.

Nope. Not worth it to me. I got about 150 shards from spending a ton of motes on xur trying to get the ram back in year 1. I may get faction/vanguard rep close to new level, but that will be it.

3 RisposteStock up on 3oC, not engrams. I have a sneaking suspicion that they will be removing 3oC with the DLC. Nothing to support this, I just have a feeling.

Yes, because even though it won't be new gear it will quickly raise your light level

Saving Legendary and Exotic, no exotics yet. Also loaded my New Monarchy level up. I bought my way to the Exotic quest with motes of light. Saving motes and coins.

Public event hunting for days to edge up factions and MoL hoarding.

There is a chance though that your when you decrypt them the light lvl will be higher though. They more than likely will decrypt at y2 but since all y2 gear is being brought forward the light lvl should reflect that

Yes. I also have 1000 armor mats and weapon parts along with 150 to 200 of every planetary material.
