How far did humans really gone?
In the beginning of the game,it's shown to us what happened before our guardian's "resurrection". That we took what means to be human across the solar system and even further. So where was the limit of our expansion.

looking back at the games already released and the number of years they have to procude something Destiny related, I would say that we will probably meet the Cabal in their home Solar System. So what I;m saying is, expect another RTS game like Halo Wars dropping in a bargain bin near you

I don't think we went extra solar. The dreams of Alpha Lupi only extends as far as the Jovian system. It's not clear if the Traveller terraformed anywhere further out, but I doubt it.

We know for a fact we had large a populous cities on Mars and Venus. We had some kind of presence on Mercury, Luna, the asteroid belt, the moons of Jupiter, and possibly further into our outer system. Our furthest reaching areas were little more than research bases though.
