Atari was the only game console my parents bought, everyone after I bought myself. Parents thought it was a waste of time and should go out and play on the street.

They bought me the n64 with goldeneye/perfect dark. I built my own first computer from scrap parts and random things, had to duct tape the CD drive down so it didn't wake up the neighbors from spinning. Eventually got banned for 6months from CAL because my computer was so crappy it couldn't register grass........(Which was a no no, but I wasn't aware). Then I made a real people PC, and got serious into competitions. Aside from my beloved n64, consoles have always been an afterthought. IF it wasn't for my buddy convincing me to play destiny with him(which he then up and left before HoW) I probably would never of gotten a ps4.
