Obviously this thread will get riddled with people showing they don't but if you randomly look at at someone's profile you will notice they play best on their Hunter more often than not. I understand that Hunters have to best collective k/d in the game as a whole and most of the best pvpers prefer a Hunter but why is that?

I've been saying this to for weeks to people saying Titans are op and too easy, yet their Titan KD is so low and hunter KD is so high. Guess what, never got a reply back from them.
-
I see plenty of people who have better K/Ds on their other classes. Look at mine, for example. My dusty, old Warlock that I just pulled back out is my best Guardian
-
Lol I main a titan but it's hard to maintain a positive kd tbh but on my warlock I could just spam grenade and blink lol
-
My hunter's kd is higher most likely as a result of the thorn era because I main gunslinger and the thorn era was perfect for gunslingers. That and the exorbitant amount of playtime difference between my hunter and my other two characters.

10 RisposteSame with me(barely). It used to be a lot more but I got worse because I didn't play as much. Hunter's complain about them being the worst class. Clearly not
-
3 RisposteMy Hunter: 1.66 (use to be my main in PvP) My Titan: 1.56 (now my main in PvP... K/D gone up 0.06 this month) My Warlock: (was my first account... rarely play it in PvP) I think its because Hunters have 3 subclasses which fit ( maybe not so much gunslinger now) very attacking play styles. I use to run gunslinger all the time and it dominated PvP for such a long time BUT now that its grenades are complete junk and cant kill someone from full health i moved on. Love my Titan now, its the only character i play PvP on, Striker titan is a -blam!-ing beast. I run double lightning grenades in ToO and they rek, shoulder charge is also amazing and just the speed of the class. Warlock, well after playing on titan and Hunter its just way to slow, it feels like im stuck in mud when i get into a gun fight.

Modificato da SuperfineFire: 7/30/2016 12:24:43 AMUse to have a hunter and it felt like their subclasses are geared towards being more PVP friendly
-
My warlock has the best kd
-
More people main hunters so its natural that they would have a better kd on their hunter.
-
My best K/D is on my Titan. My Hunter follows by about .2. Hunters were essentially built for PVP. People may deny it, but it's true.

1 RispondiModificato da BERSEKAEL: 7/29/2016 11:44:09 PMDue to EZ mode classes... stats from bungie.

2 RisposteBecause hunters are the easy button of this game
-
My best K/D is on my Warlock.

For the same reason a lot of people have a higher k/d on their Titan, and for the same reason people have a higher k/d on their Warlock. It's not all about Hunters, and if you opened your eyes a bit more, to see the other classes, you would realize many people have a higher k/d on a specific class. Why? It's a matter of adaptability, i, for one, main a Hunter, however i am slightly more effective as a Titan, i find it easier to adapt in the field with its abilities than with a Hunter's. That, and the fact that Hunters have some very effective tools.
-
My hunter has the worst k/d of all 3 of my characters..... He's a slacker
-
Cause the hunter is just the easiest to use.
-
I put it down to the hunter jump. Titan and Warlock jump are shit in comparison. But then my Titan is at 1.21 and my hunter is at 0.97, although that is mostly because my hunter was around in Y1 when I was even worse at pvp than I am now.

Most people don't? If you actually cared to look you'd see it.

Most of this comes from year 1 when blade and GG where both quite a bit better then other classes. I feel that Sunsingers in year 1 where still slightly better in trials and 3v3 but they were not great in 6v6. Year 1 I averaged a KD of 1.68 on my hunter. I deleted that hunter to start a new one in order to get the exo grim card. I had a 2.0 KD for the first month and that dropped when TTK first launched to about a 1.70. And now is down to like a 1.5 which I would say is right around where my skill level actually sits. Keep in mind I did not have a lot of kills which is why thew KD dropped so rapidly. In year 1 I easily averaged 1.6-1.7 kd on my hunter while my other two were about 1.5's. Once they nerfed the hunter classes and shotguns my KD dropped pretty rapidly and only recently has started to get better as I decided I needed to learn how to use snipers which in destiny I have always had 65-70% headshot ration but was never great at it.

My highest is my titan and I main a hunter.

Well I personally played my hunter most of year 1 back in the days that suros, Thorn, tlw, hopscotch pilgrim, etc. all reigned supreme. Now with these weapons being made obsolete for the most part and the meta becomoing quite a bit more diverse, I play my warlock more competitively and my hunter is just for fun

I have a 1.7 KD with My hunter and 1.4 kds with the Other 2

Iam one of those people, and this is what I got my first toon was a hunter, why I thought I would be playing solo alot and the hunter seemed to fit the bill, I use to run three hunters why cause it was the fastest way for me to get full raid sets. But after playing the game for a while to me the gunslinger class is built for pvp well with gunslinger trance and chain of woe that helps make any gun super strong, and with myself being a primary gunfighter it works. Thanks for your time reading this

My best K/D is on my Warlock so...
