We need a "Thank you" emote
I shouldn't have to go through so many steps just to thank a person for helping me.
Please incorporate a thank you emote.

cool idea @mattalina22. @cozmo what I suggest is making a fist and tapping it twice on your chest. agree we others here - we do have other existing emotes that work - I personally wave when I want to say thanks but its a bit awkward when you bow to someone, so a thank you gesture, with the message "[player name] thanks [player name]" would be cool.

3 Rispostebump, and I'll expand this by adding my two cents: Bungie should add a basic emotes package to the game that would be free for all players, This package would include simple things like "thank you", some kind of shrug or confusion jesture, and perhaps a few others. You know, emotes that are more useful in certain contexts than pointing. They could also make it where pressing the D-pad a single time uses one of these basic emotes, but holding a button down uses one of the dance or expressive emotes, and you'd be able to assign all of these buttons yourself.

We got free should get a Sad emote Happy emote Over here emote And all existing emotes wave salute bow all basic dances And be able to customize al 4 emote buttons Bungie have already gave us a Agree and disagree emote so I think a few more basic emotes would be good
