Since titans got their own version of shade step, would it be fair for hunters to get a shoulder charge, just with a different name?
Edit 1: After some time reading through these comments I see that a lot of people are upset that I would even start this post, and that is not shocking. I never advocated for hunters to get shoulder charge, I just asked for the community's opinion, and I am disappointed that most people are so judgemental and bent up about a question. I expected a chorus of protests to this question, yes, but what I wanted to see from the community was logic and conversations. What I saw were people ready to start a riot, and then some people had the gall to insult another person for asking a question. So what if I'm Asian, so what if I asked this question, so what if I you think I'm not smart, do you people have to converse about how someone is lesser than you? No, you don't, I asked a simple question looking for feedback and logical reasons to have it or not have it.
I'm not upset or anything about anyone's responses because like I said before I wasn't advocating for or against hunters with shoulder charge, I just wanted people's opinions on a certain topic. What I've learned from this post are the following:
1. Almost everyone opposes the idea. (I'm okay with that.)
2. People feel the classes are fine, I feel the same way, but the truth is, the game is always going to change and evolve, so tactics are changing too. To put it simply the meta is constantly changing and there is always a need for more balancing.
3. Titans get butt hurt easily.
4. Some people in this community have pent up aggression.

1 RispondiA drop kick.
-
Lol no.
-
No, titans have their abilities and hunters have theirs.
-
5 RisposteHunters already have a one hit kill melee and two melees with more range than shoulder charge. Different classes have different abilities, that's how it works, that's how it will always work, and I don't see why we should take away the uniqueness of each class. The game would be sooo much less fun if that happened.

Here's the thing. Titan melee and shoulder charge use brute force. Hunters always rely on their knife or other gadgets like a smoke bomb. Warlocks rely on their space magic. Id like to see how strong a hunters or warlocks punch is alone before they can even attempt to shoulder charge. A better question is why can't Titans headbutt like Saint 14? That had enough power to crush a Kell's skull.

Modificato da PapaSubpar: 7/26/2016 3:44:15 PMPlay as a Sunbreaker using Suncharge. It is basically shoulder charge, mixed with blade dancer, and combined with solar power. It would be bad ass if they changed blade dancer to work like that.

Good one
-
they do have their own version It's called backstab
-
They do, it's called Khepri's Sting

Give every class a "shoulder charge" and a "shade step" style move. There, now you can't say one class is OP since they all have a constant 1hk melee and a laggy dodge roll.
-
Nah they got invis. They dont need a shoulder charge equivalent. The hunter class should be about stealth and speed of movement. They should be agile. And that is how they should stay. They are not a heavily armoured class so confrontations where there are no clear advantages should be avoided. Hunters should be doing everything in their power to get the advantage if they dont already have it.

Modificato da Diamond1010: 7/26/2016 1:13:59 PMYes absolutely! Only difference should be is when the hunter uses it on a Titan he splats into a pancake. On a Warlock they engage is a slap fight, let the button mashing in sue. Edit: The hunter splats not the Titan.

No lol I'll say what I said in another thread The movement abilities are pretty balanced how they are right now. 2 classes have blink. 2 classes have continuous jumps. 2 classes have a Dodge ability now. Hunters already have ranged melee like throwing knife and smoke, that give a big advantage. I prefer those instead of shoulder charge. Plus just like blink doesn't fit with a Titan, a non-super assault type move doesn't really fit a hunter
-
2 RisposteEvery class should be exactly the same and there should be no variety.
-

7 RisposteTitans need to spend their exotic slot for their dodge move. Hunters do not.

Nobody uses TG anymore and it was never near used or usable as shadestep was. SC provides the lowest kd of all three nodes in that column. SC isn't that good. Most people running it are bad. I have played 1 guy who truly annoyed me with it as he was a Titan Skating expert wearing Peregrine Greaves. He had 45 kills doing basically nothing but scing and it was horrible but overall sc is not that good and easily countered.
-
No we shouldn't as we aren't known as a tank class
-
It doesn't really fit their character.
-
But Titans have an exotic perk which is an watered down shade step that hardly works and causes your character to look stupid
-
A hunter isn't strong enough for it, it would break against a titan.
-
I wouldn't compare it to shade step...
-
Lol no we don't watch shoulder charge. What would be cool is the ability to run on walls for maybe 5-8 steps. Not sure how it would affect the game negatively or positively but it seems cool.

What a pussy lmao are you serious?
