Has your play of the game ever been stolen?
I was playing as Mercy, defending on Gibraltar with 30 seconds left, and a Junkrat's rip tire killed my team. I backed away from them in time and resurrected the entire team. Had I not resurrected the team, they would have beaten us. My team res won the game, and who got the play of the game? The Junkrat. You could even hear me go "helden sterben nicht!" at the end. Anyone else want to share stories of your potg being stolen?

Was playing as Phara on the Watchpoint Gibraltar map, was about to unload my Barrage ult on the opposing team as they were coming out of their spawn. @#%$ing Mei throws her Ice wall up right in front of me, and since Barrage locks you in place, I couldn't do anything except watch as I was killed by my own Ult. POTG was stolen by a Reaper who didn't hit anything with his ult and only gunned down two people. Same map, except we're escorting the payload. I'm playing as Ana, got a triple kill with her. POTG goes to Reaper who got stunned while he was launching his Ult, and he only killed one guy with a regular shotgun blast. I like Mei, but Blizzard really needs to re-work her abilities. Seems most people use her to screw around with other players.

I play Mccree, so whenever I want a PotG I usually get it :)

Every time I scroll by this I read "has your game ever been stolen?" and I always think yes. -blam!- that guy.

I wouldn't say my play has ever been stolen, however there was one time when I trapped the whole enemy team in Zarya's graviton surge while my friend, who was playing as Pharah and was also the only one preventing the point from being taken, was under fire from the whole team with 60 health left. Once I ulted, and started tanking through damage from six people, he came out and used Pharah's rocket barrage on all the opposing team while I distracted and trapped all of them and got a 6-player multikill, and ended up getting PotG. While I can understand why he got it instead of me, I still think I should've gotten it since his play would never have been possible without my intervention.

Got a triple kill with Genji's alt, kills widowmaker with a deflect after, Bastion gets potf for 2 kills as a turret and 1 as a tank.

Penta kill will D.Va's self destruct before the buff. Bastion gets it for killing me and an Genji mid alt. Needless to say, I was pissed

Mine hasn't been stolen to badly yet almost did today when I was playing with my friends as reaper in the tower map with the control room area in the middle I jumped of the top plank walk area and death blossomed to kill three then quickly finish of the other two for a quintuple kill Next round my friend almost there three people off the ledge which would most likely give him the potg due to it being a environmental kill

I'm never good enough to pull something amazing, but it frustrates me when I see something cool happen, and then POTG goes to a reaper getting a double.

1 RispondiYes it has, I was playing with reinhardt and so was another person on my team. So I used my ult stunned 4 and killed them all. I expected to get play of the game but the other reinhardt got it for getting assists..... meanwhile the killfeed had my name all over it.

2 RisposteGot a five man as Zarya without an ult. Torbjorn double kill, one shutting down a reaper ult. Gets PoTG. My friend got a team wipe as Genji, but Bastion got play of the game with a double shutdown that were only used to kill him. TL;DR They need to fix the formula.

The other day I was playing comp with junkrat. It went pretty well the first match. The second is a different story. We had struggled of holding off their team, so by the last checkpoint, I have to use a riptire to stop them. I use it and kill three people, one being a reaper who was using his ult. By the end of the game another junkrat gets it who gets 4 kills with a shutdown. Funny thing is, nobody on my team had used their ultimate when that junkrat killed them.

1 RispondiSo a few days ago I was playing Reaper on offense, pretty sure it was Hollywood. I walk circles around their Bastion and kill it to get ult charge, then get a double kill with death blossom (one was a shutdown). And THEN I went in a building to get my fourth kill. potg was a Hanzo ult that shut me down

I got a team-wipe as Reinhardt attacking the second point on Anubis, but the PotG was a Reaper Death Blossoming four of our group. I don't mind, though, Reaper plays are hilarious to me.

I got a quad kill with death blossom, then a junkrat got a quad kill rip and got play of the game instead. Next game the same junkrat got another quad but then then I got a sextuple kill xd

Yeah i was Reaper about to save the my team from losing on Watchpoint. I used my alt and killed 4 people with it and picked up another right after. Play of the game was my bro using Zarya shielding me as i alted and it straight up said "saviour' in the bottom middle of the screen. Absolutely nothing else was in that play. I guess he did save the game by protecting me though.

Sometimes I get such a good moment and I think, okay this has to be potg! Then someone else gets it who got way less kills and in a mediocre way compared to what I did.
