My favorite is gen 5. First games I played (my brother had soul silver) and in my opinion was a gen one for younger kids. It had the most new Pokemon introduced and actually tried at a good story. I really liked it. Pokemon White for days!

Either 2 or 3.

Gen 1 and 3!
-
4 Risposte1-3, with 2 probably being the best. Worst starters out of all of them in Gen2, that's the only drawback though.
-
Gen 3 is best 3
-
First 3

7 RisposteTie between Kanto and Sinnoh, imo. Hard choice. Kanto had a lot of stupid ones, classic or not lol. Truly basic pokemon.

1 RispondiIt peaked at platinum and then everything started going downhill

Gen 1 and Black and white

3 RisposteGen 3, without a shadow of a doubt. Hoenn was easily the best region.

Emerald. Best damn game...

Gen 1 and gen 3

Whichever one had Cindaquil, silver/gold, I think. Good stuff.

Surprised at the lack of genwunners to be honest.

3 RisposteModificato da Trestero: 7/16/2016 12:36:29 AMI actually never played any gen 5 games, just sort of how it worked out so I won't speak on gen 5. What I will say, though, is that it's gotta be either 3 or 4 for me. Emerald was what got me started on Pokemon, and Diamond still has a special place in my heart because for whatever reason, to me that was the game of those I played where I think counting every previous gen together Pokemon was in the best place. The legendaries and even normal Pokemon still felt really cool and unique to me in Sinnoh, now I sort of feel like somewhere along the way they had a paradigm shift in the art and design styles(you can usually differentiate gen 6 Pokemon from any other gen by looks alone now) and it just doesn't have the magic that used to make me want to use them in my team. Again, I haven't played Black/White or their successors so I can't speak for them. That's one of those things that's been on my list when I've got the time or find a copy at my GameStop.

1 RispondiUnova generation forever!

Gen 5. The amount of things that came with those games was incredible. PWT, a coherent story, amazing and diverse region, cool enemy faction, N was a badass, the graphics were great...ugh, I just -blam!-ing love those games.
