Hey Derek, how about you just remove SBMM, instead of making vague promises about "tweaks".
SBMM is the aids of Destiny.

If you have a high KD the system should match you always with people of your same skill level or higher. But apparently a relaxing and fun game to you is playing games with lower skill players so you can keep padding your KD.

I did the crucible match in the refer a friend quest line a week or so ago with a guy who had barely played crucible. We went into rift. It was the easiest 36 kills I've had in a long time. These players could barely aim! You cannot allow these players to get smashed constantly! This I accept. What I don't accept is losing over and over, change lobby, it's no different, change lobby, same! Lag, lag, lag and it's made me want to quit playing! And I will quit until something is done about it or September update. Even then if match making isn't better I will not be playing pvp! I don't mind playing hard/sweat, I don't mind being outplayed or losing to better players, if a team stomps me I really don't give a -blam!-! I do not like being forced to to play in a game mode where sbmm is making the player experience poor and almost unplayable with very little chance of winning because of lag! In one of the weekly updates a while back, I'm pretty sure they stated something along the lines of 'sbmm causes more of what you players call lag'! That statement alone is enough for me to say remove it or lower it, until you can implement it in a way that does not effect the players experience!

7 RisposteLag is not the fault of SBMM as a concept, but of bungie's implementation. It's something tweaks could and should fix. Same with red bar gods. I'd rather a sweat-fest than being 100% at the mercy of RNG as to whether it's a pathetically easy game, an impossibly hard game, or a reasonably balanced game. Same as above with being shot around corners. It's not about protecting noobs, it's about attempting to ensure that everyone has a fair and balanced match where they actually COMPETE instead of stomping or being stomped. Personally I don't know about you but when I'm put against players of inferior skill I'm just bored and feel sorry for them.

1 RispondiAgreed, i have close to 6000hrs in this game, and to be honest, the lag is insane, Destiny has the worst lag ive ever seen, its horrid. Redbar players get a massive advantage. Bungie are not doing anything about it, have you not noticed how they removed or hid the 100 000 forum topics on how bad the lag is?. they dont know how to fix it, seriously, either that or they dont care, prob both.

11 RisposteYou some kind of stupid? SBMM has been in every fps game. Its the amount of weight emphasized when matching occurs. Removing would be HORRIBLE. Connection needs to have more priority when matching.

What gets me upset is that red barring and lagging even exist in 2016 like wtf do we not have the technology to rid the world of red barring? And if your barring like it's your job you shouldn't be playing competitively you should be getting an actual job lol

I would be ok with SBMM but the lag is as deadly as a Nova Bomb. If Bungie could make their connections as good as those in Overwatch, it would be so great. Bungie, can you swing it for D2?

2 RisposteAMEN DUDE!!! so what im understanding is, if a player with above average skills with crap connection, CAN still be put in a game with someone with much better connection but BELOW average skill... did i read that wrong?? ENOUGH with SBMM already! thats should be left in trials and elimination or make it OPTIONAL in certain playlists - like RUMBLE!! this make sense?
