Actually, it's not just MY question, It's my friends question. But he doesn't like to come here to the forums with his questions anymore because of how rude most people are. So, I'm asking for him. His question is: why do a lot of players in the Crucible waste their one shot super on just one enemy? He and I are not complaining or anything, We're just curious. Because it seems like this happens to everybody. And we always see it in the match chat. We don't understand why they don't just wait for a group of enemies to use it on, rather than wasting it on just one person. I mean, yeah it's a guaranteed kill, but from what I've seen, and from what he's seen, they usually get killed almost immediately after using their super. I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on this.

Holding on to your super is a bad play imo. Yes you can save it for a double or triple or you could've used it during a sticky situation and survived while having it charged back up. By holding it you're wasting precious super energy from being charged. However for trials of Osiris you should always save it to shut down supers or just generally an emergency.

I do a one man super on the people who are dancing and giving disrespect
-
Because theyre retarded. Simple
-
I generally use any super as soon as it comes up, so I can start charging the next. With my stats though, everything I say is of course irrelevant. Tacos!
-
It seems like you're talking about fist if havoc. Getting close to a group of people shooting at you can be difficult to survive. It's the only 'one and done' super without range. You have to be on top of your opponents. Some matches you could be holding on to your super for the whole match waiting for the right time.

Your friend asks lame questions, he is right to stay away from the forums.
-
To get a free kill.
-
Valid question, I suppose. Tell 'your friend' that, at least in my own case, it depends on the situation. I've used my nova bomb on a sunbreaker or a storm caller or bladedencer on several occasions. The last sunbreaker I used it on got a hammer off, which did kill me immediately after my super hit him. BUT, I did save the rest of my team waiting the last few seconds for the heavy box to open, and they in turn were able to use said heavy to take the lead. Sometimes one kill is enough to change momentum. Idealy, a super will at least be a double kill, but it doesn't always work that way.

Is this like when you go to the doctor and say I have this friend who... In my opinion one kill is better than none. Especially if it keeps you feom dying. But yes, more than one kill is preferred.

If you are on a kill streak or about to win he match to protect shit
-
1 RispondiI do it if I'm nearly dead or losing that engagement.

One sec
Having an easy way out is a big temptation If you don't use it, you may have shorted another super charge Everyone panics Sometimes you just don't like their name Stopping someone on a streak makes you feel big Sometimes it looks like there more than one person
-
1 RispondiDepends. If I'm running striker, I'll try to save it to counter a super or a group of enemies. If I'm on a kill streak though, I'll waste it if it's the only thing that will keep me alive.
-
I try to use my super on more than one. But if i can find a group to kill ill use it one one enemy. So i can get another super and generate orbs for my teamates
-
10 RisposteIt's because they panick so they dont get killed
-
3 RisposteI think it is just a case of one kill is better than none? I've panicked before and used my super on one person but I do try to avoid it.
