Titan Shoulder Charge - Severely OP
So now they Nerf'd the Warlock Viking Funeral & Firebolt grenade - did everyone move over to Titans and just run around spamming Shoulder Charge?
Been playing Destiny since vanilla - and never before have I been killed so many times by just this one melee.
I know there's some skill and timing to it - i'm just stating the fact that its a 1 shot kill.
Just that fact alone - 1 hit = death - and it's not even a super. there's not recharge like all other melee attacks.
Should this ability be Nerf'd or at least slightly adjusted?

Shotgun Fusion rifle Side arm Sniper Auto rifle Pulse rifle Hand cannon TLW A super A warlock with the Ram A hunter with a primary and a knife A sticky grenade Any other grenade besides pulse Having brain cells Not being a little bitch Jumping Not standing still like a buffoon Getting out of your wheel chair If I kill you with shoulder charge then I could have also killed you with a lot of other things because I'm that close to you. This includes shotguns, melees, primaries, supers and grenades. You're dead either way.[/spoiler]

Except it's not because it's the only ability that has to charge up before use

It is on a timer; two uses per x number pf seconds. Honestly, I think it should be one use every x seconds like shadestep, but other than that it's fine. If you change the damage, tracking, or lunge distance, it will just become useless.

Dont worry, they've abused it so much this Iron Banner it'll be getting nerfed soon I'm sure.

4 RisposteModificato da TAPSOMB0NG: 7/1/2016 11:29:58 PMthe fact that it is super easy to counter and you become so vulnerable while doing so makes it no way OP. if it was not a 1 hit kill you would never and i mean never get a kill with that again. last word, doctrine, grasp, any shotgun, MIDA these are just a few guns that can take out a shoulder charger before they can get it off. 8/10 times if you havent quite killed them with guns finish them off with: warlock melee, throwing knife, blink strike these will all finish them off before they reach you. smoke nade will stop them dead in their tracks for you to mow them down. not to mention the hit detection, shotguns will drop a shoulder charger even if you hit them. Edit. The only other advise I can give is if you don't work out how to implement a counter to them then you deserve to get hi by it. If they nerf it it will become high risk no reward

tho should charge is easily countered by shotty and can be survived by high armor. tho this scrub Era is all about staying in the back sniping. you deserve to be shoulder charged.

Lolz I suck at shoulder charge! Like what everyone else is saying, you leave yourself vulnerable. I maybe get 1 kill a match (that's if I'm running it, I'm a defender mainly! Suppression grenades FTW!)

Absolutely absurd that the Shoulder Charge is more "Golden Gun" than the Golden Gun. Must be addressed. No reason that it is this unstoppable.

Players will always go to what they believe is the easiest way to get a kill. They think they're skilled, but they just abuse an ability, complain about, get it nerfed, and then search for another thing to exploit. It won't be nerfed for power, but rather for almost everyone using it as the "meta" instead of trying something different.
