Crucible is such a miserable expirence
I'll be short.
1. I'm bad at Crucible, but that's not to say that I'm bad at all Competitive Multiplayer games (see links)

2. I've played 13-15 games of IB this week, and won 2. Nearly all lost by less than 1000 points. It's terrible.
3. Passive play styles are very rewarding in Destiny, which isn't always bad in a game, but 6v6 is a small game. Campy matches, with low player populations quickly become a miserable grind. When everyone is staying at opposite sides of the map peeking through a hole, or trying to get an angle on you where they can shoot your foot a few times... that's annoying. I've had multiple IB clash matches almost run to the time limit, with both teams almost hitting the score limit. I've even adopted this playstyle just to get some kills. Sadly... it's been working very well lately.
I really don't enjoy crucible, and often avoid it as much as possible. It's miserable, inconsistent, P2P connections are horrid, constant sweat fest, .... i could go on
It flat out sucks, easily the most annoying and frustrating PvP i've ever played. There are only 2 modes i ever enjoyed.
Combined Arms.
This was actually an interesting mode, too bad it's gone. In yr 1, this was the only week i would play regularly.
Iron Banner.
Sucks, but the loot is the only reason I play this mode, and it's only recently gotten to be worth the headache again.

I dont know about that ....i got another opinion when it comes to crucible in basic terms......what i DO hate is the amount of lag in the games.....i dont report players that are blinking around the screen like a taken enemy, i know its not a laggswitcher but just someone with a bad connection.....however....if i look up the player in subject, its a guy from latin america or usa or friggin egypt! Why dont they just connect players that are closer to eachother in the first place?(in the 2ND place, when thats not possible THEN look up the second closest players etc etc) O and i learned a new curseword: "SBMM".....you can figure that one out....

1 RispondiEverybody's using SC titans now. That doesn't work well with a passive playstyle. Most of the time these titans (who believe SC is now the meta) will rush directly at you making themselves extremely vulnerable to shotgun fire. I'm having fun showing them how vulnerable they really are. I rarely get sniped because I learned where the sniper lanes were and learned to stay out of them. Flanking works well against hard scopers. I usually flank at least one per match. Sniping is on the decline. I refuse to play passively. I play an aggressive game and when it works, it really works. Aggressive players are always at the top of the leaderboard. Not the camping hardscopers at the back of map protecting their KD. 10 kills and 1 death doesn't really help your team. A game with 25 kills and 10 deaths will help a team win. More so than passive playstyles.

Agree. The drops are less this time around, the connections are poor, the weapons are unbalanced and the majority of times I get into a firefight, the other player runs away. I blame trials for that mentality and behaviour. I'm not even talking about they take cover because they are almost dead but literally I'll take 1/3 of their health and off they run. Lvl3 / Lvl5 package was a useless BLUE artefact at 320 light on Titan and Warlock Just not very fun anymore....... I'm done with IB now. It's become boring and not worth it.

I'm so glad km not the only one. I have played plenty of pvp games. Battlefield, cod, crisis, etc. All are very decent even if I'm not a big Dan if some (cod) but destiny has the absolute worst pvp experience I have ever had.

I love when people throw my KD up in a conversation. Little do they realize or account for are test weapons which purely suck but I am rank 26 on all 3 characters on gunsmith so yea my KD sucks a little something like 1.3 but KD has nothing to do with shooting someone 100+ times and they don't die. You see I am green bar and green bar players are punished for paying for quality internet service.

[quote]So back 10 weeks to assorted playlist. 71% of special kills were sniper rifle.[/quote] Sniper are dominant in Destiny and it has nothing to do with them being OP it has to do with the horrible map designs which are filled with sniper lanes and the fact that sniper are still super effective at mid range where an auto rifle should be good at.

They should put lone wolves in lone wolf matches and groups in group matches but since that makes sense it'll never happen. IB has always been miserable but today it's all freaking shotguns. You can tell nobody is having fun: the first 2-3 days of IB things go good and everyone plays well but by friday everyone just wants it to be over with and are going to do anything they can to get the bounties done so they can go play other games.

You need to learn to accept that people are going to do certain things when they use certain weapons For example when people use a sniper rifle, they are generally going to have a bit of a tendency to hang back and scope out the area, shotguns will try to get in close. Just because your team doesn't win doesn't mean you have to have a bad game

The game sucks because you lost is not an argument. Salty post, nothing to see here. I started this game being very bad at shooters. And im still bad, but im getting better slowly. Many games now im top player but i started out in the last place. You will get better if you stick with it. You are coming into a game that people have been playing for 2 years and expecting to win? I like different Crucible modes like Rift, Mayhem, Salvage and Control. Clash is a boring mode but it can be fun. Its not fun to lose but real men don't cry because they lost. Try using a strategy next time. Use a fast firing scout rifle or a pulse rifle.

The reason is it's clash. Clash is a very unrewarding gamemode. It's just run around and shoot people. No deep layer of strategy. Couple that to the grind up ranking of IB and it's a very unsatisfying experience. I feel nothing for clash-not even after a win.
