Greeting fellow guardians, So one of the most involved and funnest things to do in Destiny are the raids. Now for whatever reason only a portion of the community ever get to run them. Rather than discuss the topics of whether or not there should be more or better tools in-game to get people to run, we had an idea brought up in our #dtc group discussion that I wanted to share here. Some of you know we've been doing a forum community podcast, the #destinytruthcast to bring community together to talk Destiny. That's been a really amazing experience to get to know various memebers of this community and hear the voices behind the names and one of our #dtc members, RedWingGirl had another really cool idea to help get some of our community who haven't been able to run the raid to finally get to. Her idea is a community forum raid day in which we match up players who haven't raided with established fireteams that can guide them through. I think it's a pretty awesome idea and would like in this post to see how many raid groups would be willing to take part. Initial thoughts are that each group could be 4 members who regularly run together and match two new raiders with each group. Each individual group can decide if they want to do normal or hard mode KF depending on the gear/experience of the players they get to run through. If Bungie wanted to put together a 4 man fireteam to take part as well, we would love to have them participate as well. As far as when this could happen, that depends on the responses. If it came together, it could be as early as this Sunday, but most likely will take more planning than that to work out all the details. In that case, the following weekend is a holiday weekend, so most likely we'd aim for the following Sunday. If you are a raid fireteam on either system who think you'd be interested in participating in something like this, please let us know in the comments and for those who haven't run, if you think this would get you to try King's Fall, let us know as well.
