Cindy McNeil is a Canadian water smuggler. Every other day she makes the short trip from British Columbia, Canada into Washington state with a trunk load of fresh Canadian water to sell, for profit, to an American water buyer.
"It's such an easy way to make money," claims McNeil, "Canada has tons of the stuff. It's just sitting there. And the Americans need it bad."
According to sources who wanted to remain anonymous, the water sells for up to $60 USD per litre and will end up wherever there is a demand for water - from watering lawns in California to filling a fountain in Las Vegas.
Well....at least it isn't drugs.

1 RispondiAre their drugs in the water?
-
1 RispondiWait... She sells it in Washington? The state where it is almost always raining? The state that has the exact same climate (the west at least) as a good chunk of British Comumbia? The state that has more water than we know what to do with? What the -blam!-?
-
3 RisposteI mean, it isn't technically illegal

At first I thought this was a joke something like "canadian makes thousands selling water to thirsty ten year olds" or whatever. I was actually surprised
-
I've lost my faith in humanity.

It's funny because I've been saying this for years. Canada has so much water here, the states is going to buying it some day. Guess that day came. Lol It's funny when I drive up north in Ontario and there is a vast amounts of empty land everywhere. It's kinda nuts that there are more people in Cali, then all of Canada. Or close to it.
-
She should donate it to flint that'd be really cool
-
Not even surprised it's to Cali.
-
the water sells for up to $60 USD per litre
If she's smart, she'll take advantage of people who don't even know how much a "litre" is. You know, metric system and all that.

4 RisposteNo kidding its better than selling drugs or nukes.
