Got my first phantom
Never played much pvp, just started getting into it recently, and just started getting decent at it (still have bad games sometimes). But first match of the day, gunslinger in control, 25 kills, 3.57 kd, still captured points, and last kill of the game got me my first Phantom medal. I know I'm a casual scrub, i know my stats still suck, i know most have multiple phantoms, but still was pretty pumped and figured nothing wrong with a positive post.
Edit: thanks for all the positive replys! not one negative response. Most of the destiny community is awesome, and you guys have definitely proved that.

Any time a gold medal pops, rarely for me as well, it's a good feeling! Returns my blood to a simmer from boiling lol

Phantom was my first legit yellow medal, the other ones I have were enemy team quitting in trials.

I love getting that medal. I think I got all of mine in Control too. It the mood hits my when I'm protecting a zone, I go full space ninja. That's about the only time, though. :p

When I read what you needed to do to get this I thought I'd never get one. When I checked my Hunter (worst character) I had one phantom medal on that character. I'd imagine a lot of GG shots were involved in me getting it but I can't even remember when I got it.

3 RisposteLol hey I'm pretty sucky in the crucible. But my greatest avvomplishment. Is getting a phantom. Without a sniper rifle lol I did it with tlaloc, and abusing the crap out of my vacancy lol I was so happy.

5 RisposteNice one, I got a phantom medal today in mayhem clash.. I'm a casual like you and it give you a sense of achievement doesn't it, it's the 2nd one I've gotten and I've been playing since yr1 so shows how good at pvp I am lol

2 RisposteCongrats! I consider myself to be average, I don't think I've gotten phantom! I got 27-1 yesterday (27.0) with a steak of 23 and no phantom for me :/ that was probably my best match to date.
