Who else misses Thorn?
Remember the days when you'd spend half a game burning due to the (previously) infamous Thorn? Nowadays, this is not the case. Firstly, due to the (deserved) nerf and, secondly, due to it being left in year 1. I do believe that Thorn needed to be nerfed but now that it has been nerfed does anyone wish for it to be brought forward into year 2?
I used to enjoy using the Thorn and, in the video above, I played with 5 of my friends to see whether it could still hold it's own in the crucible. This gameplay was recorded before the most recent Thorn nerf so the burn does a bit more damage and lasts longer than it does now. Regardless, I still enjoy using Thorn from time to time and would like to see it brought forward into year 2.
Let me know what you think! Would you like Thorn to receive a light boost? Do you think Thorn has been nerfed too much? Would you like to see Thorn receive a buff and become more competitive within the crucible? Or is the Thorn in a good place in time and competitiveness?

1 RispondiBring it back the exact same was it was original made. Thorn wasn't on a drop, you had to earn it and be decent with hand cannons to use it. Was it op? Yes but so what! I've dropped plenty of people using thorn with the last word or just about any other weapon. For all the whiny people that constantly die from thorn to the point of crying about its existence, make an equally pain in the neck quest for some armor or better yet an artifact that nullifies thorns poison. Make it some kinda trinket of dredgen yor that protects you from the poison

4 RisposteIf anyone was here before taken King then you know this weapon is game breaking to a point which the only way to counter it with a primary is to use tlw or thorn itself. I don't want that. They left it behind for a reason.

5 RisposteI agree. Thorn was a very fun weapon to use to be honest. Sadly, it is so bad now because of the community nerfing it to the ground I mean at this point, it is back to where it was when everyone first got it pre buff. Thorn deserves to be in year 2 along with Vex Mythoclast and several others. They are not even that good of weapons anymore due to the nerfs. I personally think that bringing it back and buffing it a little whether it be the Mark of Devourer or its general impact, would be a smart choice. W

1 RispondiNah, it doesn't belong in Year 2. Not now, anyway. Perhaps somewhere down the line of Year 3.
