After two runs at the weekend just to do bounties I find that Trials is no fun at all for the lower end of the PVP skill level. Occasionally a good close game will be had but otherwise its me getting stomped or occasionally stomping some poor other players.
I am a reasonable 6x6 PVP player and not a very good 3x3 PVP player and I was the top on our team which may give an indication of our skill level.
I have noticed recently that the first 1, 2 or 3 games of the ticket are the ones that are way and above the worst rounds for us getting stomped on. I am trying to understand why should that be ? It used to be rounds 5 & 6 but now its the early rounds.
It seems to be this way every time I run, are we lower levels not supposed to be playing ? why would Bungie create bounties that are not particularly hard to achieve if we were not supposed to play ?
Am I just unlucky and seem to catch teams full of scarabs and flawless in the first three rounds who decimate us 5 & 0 in thirty seconds or is it the same for others ?
What's your thoughts fellow bounty hunters?
Don't get me wrong I am not complaining about getting beat, just don't understand the system that puts people who have gone flawless numerous times against those that never have in their first game.
(I'd love to get to the lighthouse just for the grimoire but I think I am resigned to never doing it)

Have a look at that.
Playing with a couple of guys who are just bounty hunting and pretty low ELO.
First game on first character, 5% chance to win lol
Carried on like that for 3 games at least, second game 2% chance to win, third game 8%
Its not easy trying to get good :)

How did u get that table up?
-
When was it not for the elite?
-
I wouldn't call a team with an average of ~1285 elite.

2 RisposteI'm sure I'll get hate for this, but I legitimately got lag switched at my 9th game this weekend. We were 4-0 against this team of snipers, all of us had green bars. Then, in round 5, they all drop to red bars, and start rushing us as fast as possible (keep in mind previously they were laying back sniping) and were killing us before we could even see them. One round, I killed two of them, and then the 1st person I killed reappeared across the map alive. It was absolutely insane stuff. I invited them to my party after, where one of them actually admitted they cheated. Moments later, my account is banned for voice communications for a week. Trials may not be only for the elite, it's also for the hackers.

You shouldn't try to play ToO, just for the bounties... Play it to go to the Lighthouse, and don't stop playing till you get there, you will adapt to the degree of skill, eventually... Just like everything else in Destiny, "Grind it, till you find it" or is that, learning how to drive a stick...idk, good luck though...

Trials is cancer.
-
It also depends on when you play. I find any time at night the try hards are in full go ... I stick to mornings or afternoons and avoid playing at night.
-
I would do it if it had matchmaking.
-
1 RispondiIts obviously not easy to get the skill all these other elite players have, but it is possiple. Just keep practising, you'll get there someday like all these other players have.

Modificato da The Sword Logic: 6/6/2016 9:49:38 PMIt's just so hard to find people to play with. I know this sounds really arrogant, but I'm always the best player on the team (regardless of the pre-match claims of my teammates). And me being the best player on the team is a convoluted way of saying that we are definitely gonna lose. So right now I'm just practicing my sniping (as that is the Trials-appropriate skill where I need the most work). I just force myself to play entire matches with NLB as a primary and Longbow as a special (unless my team starts losing; I'm not a dick). I'm getting a lot better but I'm probably still months away from being good enough to get that 6th (and 7th, 8th, and 9th) win. But if anyone on Xbox One wants to either join me to improve or even help a scruby year-1 player finally get to the Lighthouse, drop me a message. GT is the same as it is here. I probably won't be able to play tonight (I live in Tampa, Florida and evidently we're about to get owned by a hurricane or something). But next weekend I'll be there, dripping in mediocrity, ready to win five matches easily and then literally never get another kill until my card is done.

Flawless wasn't uncommon before April update for me as I am a decent player but now I lose almost every first game to God snipers. I don't understand at all. I'm lucky if I can get the armor or weapon now

Trials is the most casual playlist in destiny.
-
Modificato da Prime Je11yfish: 6/6/2016 9:42:00 PMTrials isn't made for lower tier or casuals to succeed at, it was made for "elites" I guess you could say when it comes to going to the lighthouse and that's how it will always be. Bounties on the other hand are a different story, it was made to basically be a participation reward for casuals, sometimes they are easy to complete sometimes it's not.
-
1 RispondiIf I want to suffer i'd play trials. No thx.
-
3 RisposteI've lost count how many times I've gone to the lighthouse, it's all about working as a team mate, you'll get there. I used to play with certain people as we were a solid team, I wouldn't play trials with randomers.
-
2 RisposteIts basically only sunsingers with shotgun scrubs
-
No just play for bounties you still get good shit after 5 wins and if you're not aiming for flawless you might surprise yourself
-
Not really, I suck arse but I'm already 3 wins away from lighthouse and no loses yet. Lol I'm oke some days then not others.
-
3 RisposteAll I can say is... THE LAST WORD IS EVERYWHERE
-
Trials is still trying to match you up with teams who have the same amount of wins as you but for the first 2-4 matches it can match you up against teams on their last win or above 6 wins. Did a run the other day and at 3 wins we were put up against a team with 7 wins
-
Its pretty fun if you actually have a good team.
-
9 RisposteHasn't it always been for elites? I play a lot of pvp and enjoy it but never even tried trials.
-
2 RisposteI just don't play cause it gets to sweaty Sunsingers and 1k/long bow isn't fun for anyone
-
1 RispondiTrials is only for snipers (and occasionally shotgunners).
-
6 RisposteModificato da Imperial501: 6/6/2016 7:20:13 PMTrials is not, never was, and never will be, competitive. As much as people would like to think it is, it's not. Destiny is a casual loot shooter.
-
I don't consider trials to be for the elite but it takes practice and tons of trial and error to finally complete a flawless card.. I'm no where near being elite I'm a very casual player with a full time job and I still sneak in my occasional flawless card.. So just keep trying 👍
