I will organize these from worst to best.
Pocket Infinity
Let's face it, this thing is trash, it has no reason not to return, it is a novelty at best, but it is fun though. Surplus is always nice too.
Thorn
Now I know what you're thinking, "Screw that gun, it can rot in Y1!". Under normal circumstances I would agree, but after using it in crucible, I can firmly tell you... It's average. It is a Word of Crota archetype handcannon with a pathetic dot and final round, it does what bungie "thinks" firebolts do, disables your shields, but I digress. I will admit, a feeling of repressed rage fills my body when I'm shot by it, but it's just old wounds doing that, it's ok (Plus that dot is godly in PvE, use it on Skolas with the small arms modifier next time it comes around, melts his health.
Vex Mythoclast
Will this gun ever stop being nerfed? I think this weapon not coming forward is more of an issue of VoG not having a Y2 version than anything else. Just make it like the Cipher weapons and make it where we have to get it again, it would give the hardcore something to strive for, make it a quest from Ikora Rey to assemble it, similar to the ToM.
Necrochasm
Same reason as vex, make it a quest to obtain (similar to the way to get necro in y1 except the crux drops guaranteed as a quest item from a hard crota kill. Also, it's a decent pvp auto, but not a great pvp auto, but it would give players a fighting chance against doctrine users.
The Big One: Gjallarhorn
I understand why bungie doesn't want to bring Ghorn back, but think about it, where would it be useful in current end game content? Maybe Warpriest (barely) and heroics, but that'd be about it. Can't damage 2 of the raid bosses, and is not a efficient weapon in CoE due to the bonus score modifiers. At least make it an intricate quest reward like ToM so everyone can experience beauty in destruction and its delivery.
Ice Breaker
I personally thought this was a better option in pve than ghorn due to its versatility, but the one thing they could do reduce it's appeal? Increase the stability, reduce it's impact (to about in between P&T and LDR impact) but give it aggressive ballistics so that it can the same impact as it does now, but have less stability. So that way, yes, you have unlimited ammo, but you're not going to out dps a spindle or a Eirene.
Tell me your thoughts down below.
Edit: Just thought I'd bring up Fate of all Fools. Now I don't want the gun, well I do, but I would appreciate it if the grimiore card would be removed or if it was granted to everyone. I'm a completionist so it just makes me OCD like crazy.

1 RispondiPocket infinity is God
-
1 RispondiThe Fate of all fools is the Jade Rabbit, their exotic perk does exactly the same thing as well as the low mag size
-
6 RisposteBlack spindle has more impact than icebreaker and will ALWAYS OUT DPS ANYTHING. Seriously I don't understand why people think something can out dps that gun. If it has a critical spot then the black spindle will destroy it faster than any other gun. Highest impact in the game and you never have to reload
-
2 RisposteI lost you when you said pocket infinity was trash. You just suck with it
-
1 RispondiOr just let them be obtained the way they were, like all the other ones. God forbid we have good guns in this game though. Minus thorn. I dont care what anyone says that gun will always be bullshit.

1 RispondiPocket is a monster In Pvp right now. Probably the best Pvp fusion rifle because how easy it is to use and can consistently kill people in medium ranges because even if the enemy survives the first charge you keep firing until they die unlike a normal fusion where you miss or nearly kill them and have to recharge. Not to mention the mulligan buff effected its exotic perk. Sometimes when I miss I get more shots returned than I actually fired, its insane. And in pve, surplus and a full auto fusion for fast dps and a Ton of ammo. Sounds good to me, please year 2 it bungie!
-
1 RispondiBump for Fate of All Fools grimoire card. Bugs me that there seems to be no way to unlock that card.
-
1 RispondiI feel like ghorn, IB, and thorn should be left behind. They are really representative of the year 1 experience. It would be nice to leave them there. The two raid guns as well, unless they update the raids, then it would be incentive to grind them again. I don't agree with pocket infinity being trash, but I agree there's no reason not to bring it forward.
-
5 RisposteAs long as u cross out the thorn u can bring back whatever u want from the dead
-
4 RisposteThat's all pretty reasonable and you make great points as well. I can agree with most of it but one point. Thorn should just be removed from the game altogether, never to be used at all by anyone ever again. It's still pretty strong in the right hands.
-
3 RisposteModificato da Unspoketh: 5/26/2016 2:50:44 PMDont like necrochasm idea
-
1 RispondiBring everything forward. Except thorn U said it right, Thorn isn't that good anymore but I hate seeing that green filter on my screen. It's the only instance were I will t bag someone with out them having done it to me 1st
-
3 RisposteMake it only obtainable through hard quest like where you have to do things like wait for the next arms day or complete mission or strikes with modifiers like exposure airborne and lightswitch
-
2 RisposteStopped reading when i read pocket infinity was the worst exotic Ridiculous opinion.
-
1 RispondiI would give anything for a Y2 pocket infinity. It is beyond garbage, but at the same time is easily my favourite gun ever put into the game. There's no feeling quite the same as pulling down the trigger in a room full of people and melting them. Plus every kill with the weapon feels so rewarding.
-
20 RisposteLol. Stopped reading after you said pocket infinity is trash.
-
5 RisposteAgree with pretty much everything. The only iffy one is Icebreaker because of pvp whiners. The rest should definitely come back somehow
-
21 RisposteI agree with most points apart from about ice breaker. It would become a must at 335 for raids. And for me the only way they could really fix it is either remove Regen perk and swap it for something else like gives every shot back when a shot is missed. If they changed impact it would have to be lower than most snipers so it won't res snipe in pvp.
-
17 RisposteI'd rather have pocket infinite come forward instead of thorn. Thorn should never come forward. I don't care if it's moderate now, a future update would likely go to buffing it a small bit. And we all know what would happen.
-
9 RisposteYou are literally still being affected by thorns burn
-
1 RispondiI know it would be ridiculous, but I would love to see the dps numbers on a full round of golgoroth with pocket infinity hammering into him
-
4 Rispostethe real question is, would you use Ice Breaker or Ghorn in raids if they were brought up to year 2? Thorn never really annoyed me in year 1, or in year 2 so I would be fine with it. I don't think you would see that many more Thorns than you see now. Pocket Infinity, I wonder why that hasn't been brought up yet. Vex and Necrochasm, would require either the raids being brought up to year 2, or special encounters you can do weekly for them.
-
9 RisposteAll overpowerd thats why they arent in y2
-
OPness is too OP
