I never played pvp till Destiny. I use to HATE it so bad, but I kept sticking with It hoping I'd get better. I feel like I'm better, but I have a long way to go. I don't think at this point I could get over 1.0 unless I got beastly for a couple months (not gonna happen).

3 RisposteAll time mine is .9, recently 1.3 with a high of 2.4. I never camp and just have fun. I definitely have been improving though. I never really liked fps game, especially pvp all that much until destiny. I do like the borderlands series but its a different beast. I used to be real serious back in the days of quake 3 arena, in all reality it wasn't even fun, it was more like a sport. Destiny just has me from day one. For good or for bad i won't put it down anytime soon, for the most part its all I play.

Funny, all the haters don't realise that if it wasn't for us negative kd'ers getting are arses whooped it would be some of them with negatives. Simple math, the overall kd of all players had to equal 1. I run crucible for bounties and don't really care about kd. It may take me a bit longer to complete bounties, but I love it when you sneak up behind an opponent and dance before he kills you. They just don't know what to do.

I would rather play against and with 11 copies of myself rather than a level 3 with 150 grimoire, a level 36 with 4500 grimoire, 5 copies of myself, and 3 people who never miss.

Playing should be fun. regardless of k/d. But lets be honest , its much more fun wrecking with a good K/D in the games than getting wrecked with a negative one :?

1 RispondiMy k/d is a 1.05 and I rather play with the 0.65s than the 4.0s, because they have heart, and don't care if they win or lose, or blame the other 2-5 people on their team when they do bad. I've no need to label me as best of the worst or worst of the best, I just say I'm skilled and strong willed at playing the game, because I don't shed tears when the other team shreds bodies.

KD is a snapshot, at best. Ten or so games last night (Salvage, Clash, Control) KD varied from 0.3 to 5.0, averaging about 1.5 to 2.0. Long term character (Y1) has KD of about 0.8 and newer 1.1. Like all statistics (lies, damned lies...etc.) what it doesn't describe is the absolute shit-fest of intentional lag, accidental lag, overt out and out cheating (D-DOS'ing in ToO) and Bungie's interference (which people absolutely mistake on these forums for some sort of left-wing philosophy of equality, which it certainly is not. Read your Orwell Guardians!) which doesn't allow for a consistency of experience (we have to play poor/mediocre otherwise they throw you into a losing game with 3v6, 1v3, or some other bullshit). In those games above at least five of them were full of opponents and team-mates who in tricky 1v1's decide to throw the switch and teleport all over the place, proceed to win this otherwise losing encounter and then bag the guy they've just cheated against. That is what KD does not describe. When the connections are good (rare), Crucible is a lot of fun: win or lose.
