Real animals btw.
For me I would choose one of these two:
1) Mantis Shrimp
Mantis shrimp you say? "Why would anyone want to be that?"
Tell you what, Google a picture of it and tell me if you think it looks dangerous, because i can assure it very much is. Its pretty much a underwater real life version of the incredible hulk.
Heres a few facts about it:
It has one of the best sights in the animal kingdom.
Us humans have 3 cones in our eyes and one focal point which are red , green and blue. This allows us to see millions of colour combinations.
Mantis shrimp on the other hand... They have sixteen cones and 3 focal points giving them hexocular (not sure if that's how you spell it) vision. It also means that it can see millions of other colours that we cannot even begin to imagine. Think that's cool? Well on top of that they can also see ultraviolet and polarised light... So .. Yeah...
Oh, and their eyes are also on stalk like things giving them nearly 360 degrees of view.
Now if you think that's cool, wait until you hear about their superhuman strength. These guys come in various sizes from about a couple inches to 4 foot. They kill their prey by punching/ kicking them. Their attacks hit like a .22 calibre bullet so punching a fish will basically split it in half, pinching a crab will break it etc. In addition to this, they punch at such a devastating force that it creates a shockwave causing the water around it to boil at over 700 degrees Celsius meaning that if it tries to punch a crab but misses, its going to get boiled alive anyway. I've heard accounts of mantis shrimps breaking out of their glass aquariums by smashing the glass too and I've also heard that a tiny 2 inch one punch someone in the finger and it cut their finger down to the bone.
Last fact, if humans could punch at the force that these beasts can we would be able to throw small objects into orbit.
So that would be my first choice and you can probably understand why now.
Anyways, onto my second choice:
Hammerhead Shark
Now you're probably wondering why i would want to be this type of shark in particular rather than something bigger than a great white.
The fact is, the hammerhead shark has two features that other sharks don't, and they are pretty damn useful features at that.
Firstly, as you can probably guess, hammerheads in fact have 360 degree vision.
Now the second thing however, this is the cool thing. All sharks can smell blood right? That's how they find their food and prey, but did you know that hammerhead sharks can also smell electricity?
I cant remember the specific number but i believe it was something like a billionth of a volt is all that is needed for a hammerhead to detect the electricity. This is bad for its prey because as we all know, everything that moves around is going to build up static electricity, i can guarantee that everyone who is reading this right now will have static electricity built up on them. This means, that if you're swimming away from a hammerhead, you've got no chance in hiding from it , because no matter where you go, it will smell your static and will find you. That's why they're good at finding things on the sea bed.
Anyways, that's my two choices, what would you guys choose and why?
