I can't wait for Overwatch to put this horrible game out of its misery.
They said the April Update was supposed to last 4 months. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
We are five weeks in on this update, and people had enough of it. What a joke.
Overwatch is going to put a dent into what is already a small group of players.
Bungie, learn how to run your game.

It's not going to kill it. I, myself LOVED the Overwatch Beta, and will be playing it quite often because I'll be taking a break from Destiny. But Destiny is my main. I mean this is the Destiny Forums, afterall.

Overwatch will have zero impact on Destiny, the players, or the community. It will come and go, just like all of the other half assed games since 2013. Destiny player base will dwindle until the next update drops. Then it will explode. At which point it will begin the cycle again. Dwindle between lulls; explode with new content.

2 RisposteConsidering Overwatch and Destiny are 2 completely different types of games AND the fact that after 3+ triple A titles released, Destiny is still doing fine for its intended design, I don't think Overwatch is going to do that much to Destiny's player base. It may decrease it by a bit, but nothing that will ruin the game and empty the servers.

It's purely pvp, it's not everyones cup of tea. But it'll distract the player base for awhile until a new thing comes out.

I played the Overwatch Beta and it was fun but if the final game is like the beta with only two game modes then It will get old real fast. but it will not kill Destiny. There will be not be a game that will kill Destiny, Bungie is already do a good job at ruining it's own game.
