Three days of Iron Banner. Three days of doing consistently well. Three days of fragging BLUE REWARDS. Its "Raining Purple" in the Iron Banner? Bungie, stop fragging lying to your community. We're not toddlers who you can tell something then we forget it three minutes later and go back to picking our asses. We're (mostly) adults and teens with decent enough memories to recall the lies. Hell, we still remember the E3 video from before Destiny happened. Go anywhere? Do anything? Yeah, but only within this tiny-ass sandbox. You can go anywhere in there... just not too high and not out to those ruins in the Cosmodrome skybox that look so interesting. But I digress. Back to Iron Banner bollocks. I don't have a new iPhone or Galaxy to show off to my friends. Anyway. As you can see, I'm far from a pushover. I help my team, I get kills, and generally am a solid as hell crucible player. I don't always go 20-0 like the two images show, but I usually go well into the positive. What have I gotten this Iron Banner so far? One set of Boots. One Titan Mark. That's all. But its RAINING MUFUKIN PURPLE UP IN HURR! ... except it isn't. The drop rates, if anything, might even be WORSE than previous Iron Banners. Sure, there's an occasional match where three people get a Legendary... but I have seen just as many matches this IB go with only one or two people getting blues and everyone else getting nothing... as every other IB since Year 2 began. Why we're being lied to like this, we will probably never know. But with the fiasco of the new Pay-to-roll packs that you can then infuse and steamroll with, Iron Banner being just as much a reward desert and cheater-friendly as ever, the ceaseless lies coming from DeeJ, J.W., and the rest of the figureheads that are thrown at the community... I have just one question. Why? Why does Bungie (like so many AAA devs these days) view their customers (that's us... the people who make them so filthy rich) with such giggling contempt? Its almost like they sit together in a room, determine the best way to make a carrot on a stick look appealing, then dangle it in front of us while sodomizing us with a cattle prod... all the while demanding we shut the hell up and praise them for allowing us to look at the shiny carrot and telling us to thank them for not using the BIG cattle prod this time.
