More Matchmaking Server Improvements Inbound
Just like [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/201044222?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1]last week[/url], we will be making some improvements to our Matchmaking servers. We plan on rolling these changes out one playlist at a time following the schedule posted below. This is laying the groundwork to enable our team to more easily tune settings in the future, but [b]no Matchmaking settings are being altered today[/b]. You may experience some longer Matchmaking times as we make the switch, but this should be a relatively short period. We will be monitoring your feedback closely. Stay tuned for updates.

Well that was fun did 2 salvage matches to finish a quest with friends ..we have all negative k/d so sbmm put us with 1.5+ players lol .. Is this what you meen by good sbmm Bungie ??? Mmmmmmmm

The only positive response to this post is from a troll. I don't get mad if a good player stomps me in crucible because next round he /she may be an ally. I do get mad when I get beat by lag.

2 RisposteSo I thought after the massive uproar we had about sbmm on forums and bungie admitting they secretly changed it to sbmm that bungie did did all the matchmaking changes a few months ago putting cbmm back? Then they said they wont make any changes in destiny again without telling us in patch notes or forum posts? However, I have not seen where it says sbmm was re implemented into pvp with the april update? Do you think we are stupid bungie?

3 RisposteThe crucible/iron banner has been a very unpleasant experience for me today. So sweaty, getting shots through wall, many shots that dont register and that guy who red bar is always on top of the leaderboard. PLEASE REMOVE SBMM ALREADY. I CANT TAKE ANYMORE OF IT. IF THIS CONTINUES IM OUT. THIS GAME IS GETTING TO A POINT WHERE IT'S MORE FRUSTRATING THAN FUN.

4 RisposteSkill based matchmaking shouldn't even be a thing in destiny since there aren't dedicated servers. With that being said, whoever has the worse connection usually does better, which is why connection based matchmaking should be the priority. On the other hand, you can have 2 teams with great connections but one team has a kd of 2.0 and the other with a 0.5. If the game can have double rng (rng for which gear drops and then rng for what level the gear drops) why can't you use the same system with matchmaking? Have connection based matchmaking create a pool of teams with good connections and then match up 2 of the teams that have similar connections based off of a cumulative kd with an offset of say .5 Example: Out of 100 teams looking for a match, 50 of them have good connections and 50 have bad connections. Then send each pool of teams into a final matchmaking process that is skill based. The skill based matchmaking process should take the kd's of all 3 players and average it out and match the TEAMS average kd with another team that has a similar average. TL;DR: Either remove skill based matchmaking completely, or combine them in the matchmaking process but have connection based be the priority

Maybe it's time to start punishing cheaters in pvp. For real. Fix your stuff Bungie. Trials is a shit show and IB is not much better. There must be a way to matchmake all of the cheaters together. Let them play with each other and leave honest free of their foul stink.
