Did they ruin the last word?
Im gonna say this bungie. You completely killed The Last Word as an exotic. Its not easy using it from far range obviously, and you cant two shot from over really 10 meters away and its not exactly easy to get two headshots in a row with the recoil last word has if you use aggressive ballistics like most people, so why are you taking away the extra damage? You guys are ruining this game slowly. I suggest you rethink all the promises you've made and this "weapon balancing" of nerfing before you lose players for destiny 2.

I have no idea where you guys got the idea that TLW can 3 shot body shot. Ive been using it for a long time and its at least a 4-5, sometimes 6 shot body shot. You can 3 shot if you get a headshot and 2 body shots.

It just does not have bonus damage off the hip. Still a great gun.

10 RisposteThey kinda took its exotic perk away, so yea. Kinda ruined it. Same thing happened to Thorn. It's like taking one of the lucky bullets Way from Hawkmoon. Or nerfing the tracking on truth. Makes it useless and not worth the exotic slot when there are legendaries that can match it and even surpass it in efficiency.

And its because people are so skilled in getting the headshots with hipfire caused players to die from 2 shots. That was the reason why they nerfed Hawkmoon. Players should die from 3 shots to the head with a handcannon, not 2. If Bungie didnt take away its stability before the release of TTK, this nerf would've never happened. I enjoyed TLW with aiming down the sights but now I don't use it because the hip firing to me isn't all that. The only weapon I hip fire with are fusions. Which other weapon can compete with TLW?? In the HoW era it was Thorn and the Felwinter family that kept it in check at close range. But Im glad Bungie are buffing Low rate of fire autos. My Suros will dominate you cowboys in mid range combat lol. When Destiny 2 comes around, I wish for Bungie to go back to the drawing board and make more exotic weapons with awesome perks. These old guns are getting tired.

They also nerfed hawkmoon cause it could one shot to the head. Even though there was literally a less than 1% chance of it happening. Hawkmoon can still only two shot rarely.... And in about .7-8 seconds. The last word can do it much more consistently and almost guaranteed if you get the headshots and it could it in about .5 seconds. And it can still 3 body shot kill...for the most part in less than a second if you land all the hits. It did need to be looked at a bit.

Just increase the mag for the compensation of Lower Damage or Increase the Hip Firing range to Mid range to compensate for its lack of high priority damage on a PvP target‚ Otherwise? If they are not implementing this compensations TLW itself will shoot Tissue Papers‚ Marshmallows and Dildos Sincerely‚ A TLW Expert Speaking
