How old are you?
Just curious. And have you ever experienced weird reactions while playing because of your age?
I'll go first. I'm 34 y/o
Some time ago, I was in the reef just minding my own business and some kid (boy/girl, I could not really tell) sent me an invite and asked if I could please help him finish a strike. No problem I said. Helped the kid through. Then I was asked if I would mind doing patrol to farm some bounties. Had nothing elso to do, so sure, no problem.
20-30 minutes later the kid asks, how old are you and can I add you to my friendslist.
I'm 34.
The kid reacts with 'ew' and kicked me.
That actually had me shocked for a while. Never accepted random invites since

23... Someone I formed a party went crazy when I told them my age (and then birthday) because, as it turns out, we were both born on the same day on the same year... We have been good online friends ever since.

14 People , no matter how old they are really immature ( specifically spolied people dipshits who havent had to earn anything their whole lives . I like the fact that i have a 12 hour a wek job , its not much irl but it sheds light over how we take everything for granted ) tldr kidz suck m9

I'd have preferred higher options, I can assure you another 5 of those boxes would've been used by Destiny players. We played the earlier version on the ZX Spectrum. ;)

7 RisposteI don't understand why people kick others based on their age. Personally, I don't care if you are young, old, gay, straight, trans, black, white, or a green alien from another planet. If you can help the team then that is all that matters.

1 RispondiThere's a whole wide variety of asocial individuals playing Destiny. My strange experience was when I candidly said to a former girl teammate (she was 21 at the time, I was 32) that I had to log out because my GF dropped by. I realized a few days later she blocked me, despite months of playtime and friendly exchanges. Her excuse was: "it's disturbing to be nice to a girl and yet have a GF". Don't share your personal life with other gamers, better that way.

8 RisposteSeeing more and more 'no kids' listings on LFG when it comes to Kings Fall. Played with some kids last week who SMASHED Challenge mode and almost did Golgy in 1 round. Previous week played with 2 kids who had the collective attention span of a pair of socks. I don't worry about age...I worry about how good the player is

I had something similar happen, and the kid left and deleted me from his friends list. I'm okay with that. I'm only 23, but I'd rather not be playing or being in a PSN party with a little kid. Plus, he kept messaging me while we were playing

Yo that sucks. I'm 17, but I've been in games where people have taken the mick out of my voice cause they thought I was a little boy or a 'squeaker'... And I've had to say I'm a girl and that sometimes makes it worse :/
