Dedicated. So far Destiny is still a great game after being released over a year and a half ago. Can your game say otherwise?

2 RispostePlease note, when I say employees, I mean everyone working at bungie. That includes all of the managers. Don't get me wrong, I love this game, I've dedicated almost 100 days of my life playing it but with the lack of communication with the community it just feels like they are completely oblivious to what we actually want. Not to mention the amount of cut content, in one of the original trailers there's a clip of someone flying to the lighthouse which was finally released 8 months later and there were clips of them showing emotes which took over a year to finally show up in the game. Maybe I'm wrong, after all it's just my opinion. Maybe Activision is running the show and that's why the halo games were so good and this game feels to me like it's falling apart. Or maybe it was Microsoft taking the lead on halo. You're right, I'm not a game designer but when you see other games pumping out new content all the time it's hard to believe that bungie is trying it's hardest. Please note the original post was written after a day of being spammed by the last word in rumble so it sounds a little harsher than I meant it, plus it would not let me edit the original post.

I think that's pretty unfair, given the majority of folks that are complaining do not possess the skills to even make an IP on the level of Destiny... Sure, the things have gotten stale, but that's hardly the call of any worker-bee employees. I'd imagine greater focus is on Destiny 2, while a smaller contingent tries to keep Destiny afloat. Prolly best to just pick up another game in the lull, instead of the baseless finger-pointing and uninformed speculations. People just need to overall chill.

3 RisposteModificato da Anthica54: 3/27/2016 2:03:06 PMI know it's not easy to make these games. The way this game comes together is quit beautiful. The smoothest shooting, it is amazing. The play areas are gorgeous. The enemies are well imagined and even the smallest of enemies can be underrated . I'm sure they wish they could give us the dedicated servers and new content every 5 minutes. They love this game as much if not more than the biggest desticle. They have created a universe with amazing possibilities and a very bright future. Bungie is hard at work on destiny 2 with a very small team to keep us busy until D2 is released. They know that destiny has been mishandled at times. But I'm putting my bet down on this game, D2 will make year 1 and 2 look like a bike ride. They have a plan, they have good people working on it. Very few of the fans of destiny could come up with better stuff than bungie. Be patient, go try some other games, we are not married to the game after all. and drop in now and then. The new update will keep us going for a while and then September we will have more. It will be worth the wait.
when destiny is done with the ten year plan. Bungie should make a "sims" type game or VR that puts you in the shoes of a game developer. It'd probly be the hardest game you'd ever play. Probly not very fun either.
Edit: oops! That was more than one word. My word is... promising.

1 RispondiStrangers Aside from the three or four we've been introduced to, I wouldn't be able to pick them out of a lineup. I don't know them and I certainly can't pretend to know their professional constraints or what they are allowed to do. I can't pretend to know that and neither should you.
