If you really wan't to woo the ladies, then here's my advice. Love is a battlefield, it'd be suicide for a gentleman to rush in blindly, so prepare thy self adequately in order for success. Steel your soul, prepare your body, and open your mind. These are a few tips tht'll secure you a date. 00. A first impression is everything. Dress sharp, keep a good posture. Keep your gaze towards their person, but don't look directly into their eyes (that'd look creepy). If you fail the first impression, you will automatically fail to move onto the first step. 1. Find out her interests, likes and dislikes. This can be through idle conversation. Try not to be too forward, subtlety is key (hence charm her). Start with common information: job, hobbies, etc. (Life goals if your feeling bold). 02a. You have to pay attention to body language, look out for auditory and visual queues in order to see where the conversation is going. If there is a lull in the conversation don't force anything, it all depends on who is the speaker and who is the listener. 02b. If you are playing the part of listener, pay close attention as they speak, then counter attack with a witty remark. *Smart ass comments does not equal wit mind you*. You need to allow her to open up in order for her to consider you friendly, (or at the very least a human being). If your are playing the part of the speaker, give enough information that paints an accurate portrayl of yourself but don't give too much that it gives the potrayl of a narscisist. Talk about your job, hobbies, events; look for a common interest. 03. I'd advise not to ask her out on a first meeting (unless your experienced and your feeling quite bold). In which case you should ask for her name and tell her you would like to see her again. This is where it gets complicated, as there are so many variables in making such a maneuver that you can equate it to walking into a virtual mine field. Just keep in mind that no matter what happens, rejection is not the end. Should you be rejected, keep your head held high. 04. If you manage to secure a date, remember that date. As a romantic I have my own ways of impressing someone, but I'd say play to your strengths. If you have a talent in the arts or any talent at all, this will be your trump card. Choose a place that's generally fun for a first date, but doesn't keep both of you distracted. Therefore, the movies are automatically off limits (seriously, don't. It's dating 101. Just don't), also I'd advise against restaraunts because those places will funnel you into unnessassary conversation. You can choose somewhere fun like an amusement park or somewhere relaxing like a park. It has to be a place that allows you to know each other better, but doesn't force you together. *A single date won't really constitute a relationship, but it's a start.* 05. If the first date is successful, you would want to schedule another date. Remember, don't force anything, patience is key. Always remember, your main goal in dating is to try to find out more about them in order to lay a foundation for a possible relationship to bloom. 06. If you've managed to get your relationship started, this is the end of my advice. Everything else afterwards is up to the gentleman's discretion. From this point on, you have to work with your partner to steer the relationship in the right direction. Always communicate with your partner and make sure your working together on equal footing.
