Hello good sir. The reason why you may not be able to complete that, is because that is a raid. In year one, we had two raids. Vault of Glass (Venus), and Crota's End (Moon). Raids are specifically designed to be challenging, for 6 people. You can tell that a certain "mission" is a strike, raid, or mission by the icon when you click on them. I'm sure that Mentors would be glad to teach you more about the game.
