Then I heard Illmatic, The Cool, and I heard Los freestyle. Eminem went from #1 to about #8 on my list, once I started expanding who I listened to. He's good. But he's not the best lyricist, lol. I don't know what standards you hold for lyricism, but I think about everything. Metaphors, references, double meanings, message, etc. However, if you don't listen to these, and still say I'm wrong, then you sir, are the ignorant one. Nah dude, you have your opinions, and I have mine. I definitely hear you, and believe what you say. I'm not even a huge fan of Eminem, I'm more into the underground, beast coast scene. But (in my opinion) nobody matches shady's double (or more) entendres, rhyme versatility, and consistency. But I definitely feel you man, it sucks because it IS that debatable about who's got lyrical talent. Isn't rap such a beautiful thing?
