Microsoft Announced that it will allow Xbox gamers to play against PS4 & PC! (CROSS NETWORK) (POLL)
It means games like “Destiny” or “a few other popular games" could be played online, together, by players who are on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Edit: What would happen with playstation exclusive items? Would Xbox players get them or have to go against them?
Edit: No intention to start a console war..It was all in good fun. But I think it would be good for a better player base and competition.

Would be really funny if in all FPS games one team was only xbox players and the other was only ps players. You could truly have a console war then.

Hopefully it would work for every game. That means way more people to play with in matchmaking. [spoiler]Though an option to avoid PC gamers would be nice as the advantage of mouse and keyboard is too great for controllers.[/spoiler]

I'm also inclined to think the people talking about PC players wiping the floor with everybody, ever, have only ever played games on a SNES controller. Seriously, there's literally no skill gap at the level most people play at. I did 4 years of recreational and 3 years of competitive gaming on PC shooters in the 2000's, and playing Console games seems to hardly be different against the exact same AI and opposition players, provided there is some amount of aim assist (which most console shooters offer as standard). Y'all have no idea what you're talking about smh

1 RispondiYeah Xbox is more competitive easily. That's a good thing though because I get bored fast when I play online on my PS4 because a lot of people aren't good, but when I play Multiplayer on my Xbox I'd NEVER get bored lol

If they do go through with that, I say leave PC out of it. Console cross play is fine, but PC will always have an advantage over console players.
