DONT CAP IN SALVAGE
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ITS JUST STUPID.
YOU GET THE SAME AMOUNT OF POINTS TAKING FIVE SECONDS TO DEFUSE IT THAN IF YOU PROTECT IT FOR A FULL MINUTE. LET THE OTHER TEAM CAP IT, AND THEN DEFUSE IT. DO.NOT.CAP.THE.HOTDOG.

I play Salvage as part of a team of three Armor of Light Defender Titans who all run the Helm of Saint 14 and shotguns. I'm pretty sure we can protect the relic for as long as we need to.

2 RisposteYa its dumb. There should be way way bigger reward to cap it then there is. Once everyone gets to 7 kills and everyone starts getting supers it's way way too hard to hold it down. 1 super can wipe the team

There's a bounty for it. Also if you cap it and then get to a good vantage point you can easily pick off the other team as they rush in to defuse it. Both methods work fine, depending on how good you are.

Well between two evenly matched teams, capping is generally disadvantageous. The timer on a relic allows for 2-3 full respawns from the opposing team, so often times it is advantageous to just not cap because you'll probably be disfused.

I do not know if you know but some people may be trying to get the achievement that you earn from capturing these points. I also doubt people care about pvp that much anymore.[spoiler]2nd point is a opinion do not take it to heart[/spoiler]

Seriously -blam!-ing true. I'm not very good, but I can notice strategy. Here's the deal, if perfectly equal teams rush each other again and again, sooner or later the other will win. The odds are against you. The only hope you have for holding for a full minute outs if they're idiots and rush 1 at a time or if they simply have no thumbs. The true problem is simply that you only have to be wiped once, were as they can just keep coming and coming over the course of a minute. So if two TRULY equal teams go together in salvage, it's not salvage. It's -blam!-ing skirmish.
