Dear Audio team,
I just wanted to get ahead of the twitch stream and go ahead and apologize for the death threats, "kill yourself"s, and all manner of nonconstructive "feedback".
What you do is very interesting and will definitely inspire many who participate and hobby in your field. Unfortunately your twitch stream comes ill-timed. That's not your fault. And for that I am also sorry.
Much like the Dreadnaught ride along your event is months late and awkwardly placed between an info dump that is also very, very, very late. December teased information and that tease was desperately needed; however, we're 4 months past that tease and have dealt with 2 months of "in the weeks to come". Patience has worn thin.
So from the bottum of my heart Audio team I am so so sorry for the abuse you are about to have inflicted upon you. I hope there's some sort of compensation in line for you.
Thank you for your work.
Hektik
P.S. To the community. Please remember that attacking the wrong people helps nothing.

20 RisposteNice. There are a lot of people who do their jobs and do them well. Deej, Luke, and Jon are not on that list. Unfortunately, the messenger is usually the one who gets shot.

1 RispondiI'd like to see a ride along on how they made year 1 so awesome and how they are changing the game back to being fun again.
-
2 RisposteBUMP I viewed about 3 to 5 minutes of it, then had to turn it off once I heard Deej say, in order for us to communicate with them we had to subscribe, which cost 5 bucks. No surprise. Anyway, in the Stream, in chat, lot of people were very responsive, positive, and interested..

7 RisposteThey are Bungie, and they represent Bungie. This is why they're being attacked. They earned their abuse.
-
No one gives a shit about the music! We want a real update!
-
I was skeptical but to be honest, it was a very well done stream, interesting discussion, and the video to start it all off was amazing. The Xur voice actor was exactly how I would have imagined. Well done Bungie.

Modificato da Thorgragk: 3/11/2016 2:03:31 PMI was thinking something similar when they announced this one. Well said OP.

It was a good grown up session about an interesting part of destiny in my opinion. Fair play to them. They get a lot wrong but this was ok. Thx.

1 RispondiI thought it was a good and interesting watch

1 Rispondia good interesting watch. I love the art of game making. Bungie may not communicate very well, but they know their Vi-docs.

1 RispondiModificato da gallp13: 3/11/2016 10:00:02 AMThis was a professional, enjoyable and fun insight. More please Deej and Bungie Also nice post Hektik very thoughtful :)

1 RispondiAgreed, on a more positive note; does anyone else get a feeling when watching that cutscene? I don't know how to describe said feeling; the scene where Mara says 'Mara Sov bows to no one!', summons the harbingers and that beautiful music plays. That particular scene with the music, the Queen and her Techuens showcasing some of the mysterious and ominous power of the Awoken just mesmerizes me every time I watch it.

1 RispondiI have never had a problem with the Audio team. The audio in destiny is some of the best ive heard. Love the music the sound effects all of it.
-
Can anyone disagree that this was their best twitch stream to date? Why? Because it wasnt live! No more live shit bungie, not trying to take the piss but you guys are just not good at it.
-
Well said Hektik.
-
19 RisposteI agree with all of this. Threats of any kind are absolutely intolerable and undermine the work many of us are doing here.
-
5 RisposteIt is a shame that the boners at the top have dug the Destiny team such a deep customer relations hole... Misstep after misguided misstep with a game I still consider as one of the prettiest, most engaging and enjoyable gunplay our next gen consoles have to offer. The devs deserve some love. Their leadership, and Activisions need to eat crow.

24 RisposteHonestly if they had these in the afternoon when more than just kids are able to watch the comments would probably be....Nevermind they would be just as bad but at least there might be some positive feedback. Kids don't usually appreciate technical stuff like this. Especially right now. So I'll add my voice. It's appreciated but incredibly poor timing that many are taking simply as pointless filler to stall. It really makes me wonder is there not even a single screenshot they could release? Anything to placate the beast?
-
7 RisposteYeah, there are people that deserve some ire, but these guys aren't the ones. I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere of the game, and the sound and music have much to do with that. One of the bright spots, actually.

-
I agree with every word. It's going to be bad, but it's not the audio teams fault.

Well said.
