Aka, "I'm a little bitch and keep challenging with a hand cannon/auto Rifle".
Here's a hint: Snipers don't descope because there is literally zero hipfire accuracy on them. None. At all. Every single noscope you've ever seen in Destiny has been 100% luck. You're just as likely to hit a guy 10 feet in front of you as you are to hit the wall.
Want to make Snipers descope when shot? Better make it like Halo then, and everything gets descoped when shot, and give sniper rifles an exact hipfire reticle showing where the bullet will go. Otherwise, you're just a whining, shotgun thumping, thumbless child.
And for the idiots who think there's no flinch when getting shot, I have nothing to tell you, other than you're delusional.

1 RispondiAgree wholeheartedly. ~TheGreatAdidas

i just get really pissed when im rushing a sniper that's camping in the back of the map and he just hardscopes me and gets the headshot as im emptying bullets into is face. that's dumb. ever since taken king it's just been RIP gunfights
-
6 RisposteIf a sniper is getting shot by high cal rounds like mida or red death they should not be able to even hit you let alone headshot you. But they do, so flinch doesnt currently matter.
-
1 RispondiPeople that hardscope lanes are by far the most annoying players in the game. I'd rather deal with 3 warlocks using the bitch sunsinger build than go up against 3 people who will sit in a corner just to stare at a door.
-
Get good.
-
I descope after a hit 90% of the time lmao
I have strange strategies that somehow work
-
2 RisposteGood thing division doesn't have snipers that one shot and people who bitch about why they're crutch shouldn't be nerfed
-
2 RisposteSnipers should hit when descoped ~TheGreatSkechers
-
Exactly, that's the only way that snipers being de-scoped when hit would work. All gun mechanics would have to be like Halo, and I don't want that, I want Destiny.
-
:D right the fukk on
-
4 RisposteSomething still needs to be done to balance out snipers or buff shotguns so they're a little bit better. I personally don't like getting quickscoped from around 12 feet in front of me
-
1 RispondiHow about when you die and respawn you lose all of your special ammo. That way people won't be able to go from one sniping spot to another, or run around with a shotgun the entire game. Only respawn with primary ammo.
-
If snipers descoped when hit imagine how shitty pve would be. Bungie would obviously make it so that PvE snipers descope too.

This guy gets it.

3 RisposteYou should increase flinch

50 RisposteIt's ironic to see the way that people defend broken mechanics when it's in favor of their playstyle. Prior to 2.1 the line was "if you don't want to get shotgunned, stop letting them get so close". Now it's "stop running into sniper lanes and you won't get headshot". That clip is a perfect example of what's wrong with the current meta. Instead of taking cover or switching to a primary, he continues to try to snipe at the person who is lacing him with bullets. Why? Because he knows there's a good chance he's still gonna pull off a headshot anyway. How do I know that? Because I've done it too. Now, I don't want Bungo to nerf anything else until they learn how to balance one troublemaker weapon at a time instead of wrecking entire classes, like they've repeatedly done with fusion rifles and hand cannons. When they do, then I think the mechanics of how snipers work should be adjusted.
-
If snipers should de scope when hit, then so should the rest of the weapons.
-
5 RisposteIsn't a noscope with any sniper in an fps game luck?
-
3 RisposteOr least have a more noticeable flinch. You know, like when a bullet is traveling at an incredible amount of speed and unleashing all that force into your body.
-

Your post is correct. But you looked delusional attempting to run back through the portal

3 RisposteThis ain't t halo move on.

1 RispondiNope, what are you thinking kid?

6 RisposteHAHAHA PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS SATIRE

That first shot missed in the video because you were aiming slightly above his head. The reticule didn't move very much initially, and the bullet went exactly were you shot it, even after the initial flinch. Obviously descoping is a bad idea, but that is because it will ruin the DPS class of weapons for PVE. Adding a bit more INTIAL flinch would put snipers in a much better place then they are currently.
