It is competitive. I'm not even a fan, the competitive scene is somewhat artificially sustained by the advertising dollars of Activision, and I find the competitive matches boring as all hell, but to claim that CoD isn't competitive would be ignoring the fact that they are able to run tournaments with a stable set of top teams. If it weren't competitive, the top of the scene would lack such stability.

Just because I got burnt-out and stopped playing the series a few years back doesn't make me ignore the fact that is still a highly competitive, MLG recognized series. There's really no debate on this since whether someone thinks it's good or not is irrelevant.
