I personally think it's a heating/cooling cycle. And that "global warming" isn't actually a thing, but a section of said cycle.

1 RispondiGlobal warming doesn't exist because it's snowing right now. Also, world hunger no longer exists because I just ate.
-
It's a mixture of the natural cycle and human causes. We're just making it significantly worse and worrying.
-
2 RisposteReal but it's mostly happening naturally
-
3 RisposteGlobal warming isn't real Climate change is Learn your science, kiddos. Back when I was a kid, the world was supposed to have flooded over and stuff by now. They always move the goalposts with our demise just like doomsday theorists
-
3 RisposteI would just like to point out that 26% of Offtopic just ignored science.
-
It is real and luckily we are well on our way to stop using oil, coal and gasses. Solar power is becoming more advanced, and so are the other renewable energy sources
-
Please tell me that you people don't actually neglect global warming as factual
oh
-
Global worming is a natural process I would go into debt help about how we as a people can cause little to no effect on climate change but this is probably filled with ignorant little shits
-
Global warming is referred to climate change....
-
My boyfriend and I were actually discussing this today. We were talking about the ice caps melting and then we were like "but what if there were never meant to be ice caps and it's just taken this long for them to really melt?" Then we talked about rising sea level and such and then we were like "well how do you know what the "normal" sea level is? Couldn't t have been much higher years ago?" It was fun. Lol
-
14 Risposteya conservatives just like to deny it cuz they really don't give a f about the planet and only seek to make profits
-
Yeah, Global Coolin- I mean Global Warmi- uh I mean Climate Change, is real :^)
-
3 RisposteIt's real, and was a thing before us. The thing is, we're making it worse in a very slow way.
-
1 RispondiIt is real. But it's not completely at the rate people think. The polar caps may melt one day, if this keeps on going. But it won't be for a while. It's pretty cold down there.
-
Modificato da Geppettophile: 3/4/2016 3:32:49 AMI believe it, but I don't like the political use of it to control people. As the politicians use more energy than I ever could in 10 lifetimes they are telling me I must be better. -blam!- off with that. Lead by example.
-
1 RispondiThe earth is on a natural cycle. Humans started agrarian societies at the start of the Neolithic Revolution, which dawned at the end of an ice age. Global temperatures do fluctuate over large periods of time.
-
2 RisposteI seriously don't see a problem in a small rise in global temperature. Carbon dixoide levels are so low in the atmosphere that it won't even change that much. What maybe a full degree?
-
Just say climate change.
-
I prefer the term "climate change" since weather overall is becoming more extreme. It's undoubtedly very real, and I personally believe that a bit of it is natural, but humans are contributing a lot to the issue.
-
Well, the earth's poles are changing within the next 50 years so our seasons will change. Other then that you really can't tell how much of a human impact we have
-
I don't really care one way or another. If taking care of the planet is made even somewhat convenient to me, I'll do it. If it's not, I probably won't.
-
To deny the fact that it exists would make you a very ignorant person. It's a natural occurrence, there's no denying it.
-
It's real, but I don't care because I'm sure our great great grandkids will have the tech to survive. If not, shit happens. :/
