18,000 is a lot for a live stream.

No one was going to watch it that's a poor judge, destiny gets a steady 100 thousands that log on daily.

League of legends has a much larger fan base with players in many more countries than destiny. You may as well compare Destiny streams to to the World Cup or super bowl.
