Why Firebolts, why

Yesterday I was playing Trials and I lost mercy because one of my teammates lagged offline, then we found a full team of sunsingers with no -blam!-ing skill (they had only shotgun that don't need a lot of skill in my way) who just threw Firebolts and shotgunned the shit out of us. They had no sniper, two shotguns and a sidearm. It's not fair that somebody wins a trials match only because of those -blam!-ing grenades with Viking funeral and touch of flame, and I think a lot of people will agree to me. Bungie do the best thing you know to do : nerf them to the ground

I agree that damage over time should be taken down. I just love seeing 3 Sunsingers on the other team for trials, it really makes my day! It's the whole reason I am working on a Warlock now...

Firebolt needs to tick faster from 7 damage for ten ticks to 15 damage for 4 ticks. This would make it not a one shot plus grenade kill more often and allows for some counterplay. It is a grenade with a 20 ft radius that can't miss unless you shadestep perfectly. It aims for you, it is so easy to use. [/spoiler] Side Note: [spoiler]Can't Touch Us. They also already nerfed firebolt grenades and if they nerf Viking funeral (which is what you're really mad at) they could really nerf it to leave 75% health but the dot is what the problem is for ppl against it in trials. Which even with a few less ticks of damage really isn't going to help you against it.

I did not care about fire bolts before because as i prefer hunters, and lightning bolt grenade was good as well, but since it got nerfed, it's left me wonder why does bungie nerfs everything hunter and Titan related

I will have to say firebolt is a bit ridiculous Just make reduce the DoT and make the full amount of damage be dealt quicker Leaving someone out of action for 12+ seconds But then also being able to grenade again in 25 seconds is ridiculous

Which is why I run Sunsinger with Thorn and Voidfang, I get grenades on respawn and after a few shots and Firebolt, dinner is done lol

Lol, I never get hit by these. I land hits with them a lot though. I guess its because I know why I miss so I know how to force others to miss. Also shotguns have like a 5 foot 1hk range. Also it was a 2v3 so you were probably ganna lose despite the grenades. Why do people bitch so much? Lol

Players could become so much better if they just stopped complaining and learned from their mistakes. I'm not a god, look up my stats, but I'm above 1.0 and I improve everyday. Instead of saying "what a shotgun fgt" realize that he/she beat you and realize how they beat you so you can counter it. Firebolt is a strategy and it's not going away. Instead of complaining, adapt, you will become a much better player in the end.
