Iron banner isnt really worth it
I've been playing destiny since the beta and i truly love this game. But rewards in crucible have just been awful. The loot for iron banner this week is just the definition of trash. Who really wants a year 2 prydeths revenge? Not to mention the rocket just a down graded radegasts. The packages are also a waste of time 310 artifact and 310 ghost shell pls the only good thing is a [u]possiblity[/u] of getting another piece of iron banner gear higher then 310. I will not play the iron banner do to these mediocre rewards.

I only do it now to help out friends that are lower level and can't win with the horrible randoms that get put on their team.

You might get a killer roll the Ironweath, or Nirwen's, or whatever your favourite weapon type is. Doesn't matter what level, an infusion fuel item from the Raid will bring it up in no time.

Bungie wants people to grind for months doing the same things futilely. Plus they thinks of you get Lyle guns you want you'll stop playing. So the rewards are uber stingy. If so then it's the game that's the problem. For me the point of this game is simply to get guns and not play the game once you get the guns because the endgame is a bit repetitive and thus there's a problem. I look at games like COD and Halo and the game doesn't end once you unlock the guns. I'd be less of an issue if crucible was much much better and was well balanced but that's never gonna happen in my opinion. But for my Bungie needs to consider that the average gamer doesn't hours a day to bang his head against a wall to weapons. They don't have the hours to sink into the game like the twitch streamer who plays games for a job and thus they'll stop playing rather than endlessly play without reward. especially when there are other games that they find worth their time.

My rank 5 package was 310 shell and 310 fusion. Garbage.

I want that sniper. I've been getting a 320 weapon on at least one of my rank 5 packages each IB week so far, which is always good for infusing.

I got a 312 weylorans year 2 month 1 from rank 5 package. Bellows 314 month 2. I'm just trying to improve in crucible until new content comes out so iron banner is something I could do and also maybe get rewards out of.

If I could just get some armor and the sniper I would be happy with it. I'll ascend or infuse them or whatever I just want something.

Reasons I'm doing the IB on at least 2 of 3 characters, even though I fully plan on leaving for some other games (the first is The Division on March 8th): 1. It's pretty fun, in doses. 2. IB armors is my favorite to look at and my virtual dolls want 'em. 3. Sucktastic rolls or not, the weapons being offered are the last two to complete collection.

I started when TTK came out and I loved my first Iron Banner then it started to get less fun for the grind, I do love the look of the PS exclusives just a shame I can't get any to drop.

I started playing on my PS for the first time since TTK dropped last iron banner. Went in as around a 270 light and ended up pretty high getting a 310 artifact and 314 gloves along with legendary gear I could infuse my blues into.

3 RisposteI think it's worth it. I like the sniper in pvp and the rocket launcher is decent. I'll be trying to get more, better drops after tonight when I get my 3rd character to rank 5. So far, I got a 320 shotgun with decent perks and a 314 class item, which was good because my IB class item on that character was only 300.

6 RisposteI like having a 310 artifact that isn't the designated quest one, I infused my artifact into a different one I liked. The helmets are cool, I want one for each character. Uhm, Praedyths Revenge was [u]the shit[/u] back in year 1. It's all I ever used. Lol Yeah it might just be a downgraded radegasts but I can't use my radegasts in level advantage playlists so of course I'll need a new one. Now, what they [b]do[/b] need are new shaders and ship. It's been forever, literally, lol.

I started IB as a 292 and I am up to a 296. It helps players in my boat.
