Is it the sword you get from Eris --> Shaxxx quest? it is not the refer a friend quest sword? I was told to get my sword 280+ but that did not unlock it, so I unlocked all perks and obtained them, that fixed it and the quest triggered. Try logging out and logging back in and check back with shaxx.
