My first day of doing trials. Cant get past the first win. Its amazing how sweaty everyone is. Trying to get past the mainstream 1k and Conspiracies is really hard. Any tips?
-
I enjoy it. I would refer to myself as casual. Typically the only PvP I play is either for bounties, iron banner, or trials. Second straight week in a row I've gone flawless with randoms off of #recruitment.

1 RispondiEveryone is wants Doctrine. Funny thing is watch everyone scream for nerfs on it.
-
Trust me. Don't waste your time. I'm a year 1 player and I still can't go flawless. I've been 8-0 a few times. Last round is always the worst. Please don't waster your time like I did

2 RisposteA truly skilled player can go flawless using any type of weapon. All these streamers think they are the best by using TLW, 1ks, Conspiracy theory D, Mida, fire bolt nades etc. That's all trials is. It gets really boring having to do the same since it's the only weapons that compete. I get so burnt out by 7 8 I lose effort to fight. One time it was the 5th game and this guy decided to leave in the middle of the match because me and my buddy weren't using those weapons. The match was down 3-1 and I told my buddy that I was gonna switch to plan c since most people aren't really threatened by it. We came back 5-4 easily in a 3v2 match. KD ELO rank don't mean crap if you camp and use the same weapons all the time. It's just boring.

Communication and team work make good call outs when dead and stay away from sniper lanes flank when able
-
It's not bad. Its fun, its supposed to be a challenge. So facing good players is fun.
-
Yeah, the Icebreaker exploit is ridiculous. It's been there so long too. How did Bungie forget about it?
-
I'm sorry I forgot the tips that helped me get a little bit better... Find 2 other people that are around the same skill level as you. Learn to communicate with them very well. Learn how to read their communication as well, this is important. And by golly, make sure that you guys compliment each other's play style! If teammates rush every time and you don't, then you probably won't do well together under pressure. Practice together. A lot. Lighthouse bound.
-
Trials isn't a bad game mode. It's just icebreaker sidearm cheeses and the shitty connections!
-
I thought Trials is supposed to be like that. Small teams going their absolute hardest. Crush or be crushed. Am I wrong?
-
41 RisposteTrials is a lot of cheaters. It's never fun.
-
Trials is a bastard to play - but that's part of its charm! :-) My advice would be to focus on teamwork - I've seen many games hinge on the abilities of players to guard enemy orbs and revive downed team mates. Getting to know the map helps too. The first time I went flawless, I played three cards where we lost every single game - on the fourth card we got flawless!
-
1 RispondiIt's a learning curve. Expect not to win a few games when you are with new people. Then once you guys play together for a bit, you'll learn each others strengths and weaknesses and compensate each other for it. It's also good to learn when to reset a match so you don't carry on pointlessly attacking. I believe I was the same when I first started Trails.
-
3 RisposteGet better. Stop complaining just because you're trash and go 0-3 everytime. That is all
-
1 Rispondi1. Learn how to snipe 2. Profit
-
22 RisposteI still think once you've hit the light house on a character it should lock you out of getting a new card.
-
Mida and sidearm
-
Teammates make all the difference. Find a couple good ones. Play with them. Learn from them. Get better.
-
I'm at best average at PVP and my teams strat is just to rush them with And not let the snipers get into position or camp for special ammo. Works for us went to lighthouse on all 3 characters this weekend
-
Just learn how to snipe .
-
1 RispondiFirst, before i decide to call you a blueberry/potato/dogshit/ or the occasional diarrhea. It takes zero sweat or effort to beat someone terrible at the game. Trust me when i say that you are the issue and not everyone else.

The one mode that would benefit the most from SBMM operates on the dumbest matchmaking parameters in the game.
-
First real attempt at trials since it first launched. Didn't go flawless (obviously) but won a few games across 2 cards. Picked most the bounties up also. Bit of practice and I might win a few more. My team and I met first time couple days ago in the king's fall. We had a laugh. Something that many, many gamers seem to have missed out on here.
-
8 RisposteGet better. If you're having trouble with the first, it just gets harder from there on. It's not supposed to be easy. Although it's much easier than it used to be.
-
Good luck man... The trials diehards have been playing with the same teams for almost a year now, memorizing every map and every play that can be made.... Not an easy time to be a new player who wants to try trials...
-
If your not good at pvp don't play it, and for the people who say SBMM needs to be implemented into trials fûçk off, it's the only game mode where I can stomp kids which makes it the only fun game mode :)
